He will go back to Germany the possessor of the most embarrassing football chant in history Yes he will Really? So the ‘Posh Spice is a slapper’ chant, the Adebayor ‘shot in Angola’ chant....and the rest, are less embarrassing than a tongue in cheek chant about one of the best centre half’s we have ever had? I don't even know what the chant is (or more probably can't remember).

And probable confirmation that we may never see him in a Town shirt again... Awful handling from an amateur manager, fans should not be told a club legend won’t play for the club again in an off the cuff comment Shamefully disrespectful and unprofessional from coberan

The club should be proactive and upfront with the situation, no reason why we can’t treat Schindler how aguero has been treated at man city. Schindler deserves respect and his departure treated with humility and professionalism. For heavens sake it’d be nice for the club to at least attempt to retain some connection to the fans

In truth, we’ve never ( as fans ) had the chance to show our appreciation for any of our German contingent - Wagner, Lowe, Heff and now Schindler. Whilst I’m sure that this was due to circumstances rather than by design - to some of us, these things are important.

It will be such a shame if he does go without the chance to say "Addios Amigos" and for Town fans to show their appreciation for an all round great player and person. In the blink of an eye!! it all just seems a dream, the Wagner years, that Wembley penalty, beating Manure, staying up against the odds. Oh To Be A Terrier.

You can get to learn a lot about a modern football club as kit man's second assistant. Those balls dont put themselves back in the bag, you know.

The word "legend" does get bandied around, in general, way too much. However, we have had in our recent history, some of the best football times in a generation, so it is natural we'll hear the term more than we would normally expect to now.
Without doubt, unanimously I'm sure, Schindler will go down as a club legend & I hope he realises how much he is thought of by the club & the fans, what a player & what a man.
Cheers bud.
