I don't mind a single minded selfish striker as long as they deliver. It's arguably the only position where that is sometimes an asset. A degree of arrogant confidence is a good thing in a striker for me. |

Have the rules on long term loans been relaxed?
In 2013 (and previously) you could not loan for more than a season, and loans could not extend beyond the end of a season.
My source says he doesn't know the registration rules now.
One for Maynard, maybe.

Edu, Sylvinho, Fernandinho, Lucas Mora, Lucas Leiva (arguably), Geovani.... *Edit: Elano, Oscar and Gomes. Quite a few others had decent seasons in the PL, just probably not particularly noteworthy (Raphael, Jo etc). And who can forget the incredible job that Roque Junior did! 😁 |

No Lincoln in the Flamengo squad this evening I read an article that said he’s been sent to train with the u/20’s so as not to get injured. Sounds like he’s definitely on the way out, with the preference for England, but some septic tanks are interested. |

Have Cincinnati or Kiev submitted a formal offer, and if they did, would they be facing competition from Town who have not submitted a formal offer?! This is nonsense. |

Cincinnati is the MLS team I cheer for. I agree with you that I don't think there is as much competition for Lincoln as people are making this out to be. The offer Cincinnati sent was a loan with option to buy deal and from the reports I have seen the offer will likely be accepted. That tells me that the club and/or agent are saying lots of teams are interested to try to drive up the price. I doubt there's anything to Town being interested. |
