Exciting news,we've already shocked the world signing the next Mbappe in Diakahby,so this would really keep within the style of our transfer system at Town

Carlos running the rule over his VT this week. Would be a loan if he fancies him. Being made public hasn't helped our cause.

Short term would make sense as the style of play will be completely different and you don't want to be stuck with a flop. Swings and roundabouts though if he does well and we are priced out of a permanent purchase.

Translated from a Brazilian paper Rio - After Pafos, from Cyprus, gave up the hiring of Lincoln, now it was the turn of Huddersfield, from England, to show interest in the Flamengo striker and has already started negotiations for the hiring of the young red-black on 18-month loan purchase option established in the contract. According to the report, the talks are ongoing and flow naturally, without haste from either side. What is a consensus between the parties is that Lincoln needs to breathe new air, even if the only way is a loan, a model of the negotiation between Flamengo, the striker and Huddersfield.

wow. The 18 month with an option is shrewd business if true - towards the end of that we'll both know his true value and our future prospects.

This could well be a genius signing if it comes off. Lad obviously has talent if he's been scouted by some big clubs

Due to new rules because of brexit it’s a great way for South American clubs to get talent into the European markets if town can be ahead of the curve it’s great work by the club and could see it happen more often across the leagues, have to wait and see.

But this lad was being watched by Madrid, Barca, United and so on and with it being a loan, it’s very little risk for what could be a huge gain.

Even if this doesn’t come off it’s a big jump from being linked with David Nugent. Fair play to Bromby, seems to be working hard behind the scenes.

Sounds like if can do it it’s win win win.if he’s as good as hoped town get a quality player for 18 months. The player himself probably gets a bigger move somewhere in Europe/uk off the back of it and the selling club gets a decent fee,if they are valuing at 4-5 now then maybe if has a good time you can potentially double that given his age. Also the 18 month loan been quoted on the examiner makes sense. It gives him the time between now and the end of this season to acclimatise to England, the championship and Carlos demands/methods with a look to then him having a full pre season next season and hit the ground running.Fair play to the club.Obviously it may not happen or workout for us/him but thinking behind it seems to be there.

From the video he looks strong with good feet and a turn of pace. Also has an eye for a pass. If all those are regular attributes, and not just one offs from his highlights reel, he would be a really good addition. It also looks like he would slot in to the CC style quite easily. An 18 month loan would be excellent, even without a purchase at the end of it if he lives up to expectations.

Get him signed!
Went to a Flemengo game a few years back.
Atmosphere the best I’ve ever been in.
They won 2-1 too which obviously helped.

After that vid (I know they can be deceiving) what I like the looks is his movement in the box always trying and succeeding in getting across the defender. Could be lethal with some of the decent balls we've put in this season when Campbell always seems to be on his heels not anticipating it

Again, going off the video he looks a similar type. Dropping deep. Not afraid to get stuck in and draws fouls well. Campbell is an odd one for me. Yes he works very hard, but his goals ratio should be better he also gives away ridiculous free kicks too often.

This is the sort of signing we should’ve been making 2 years ago.

With a goalscoring record of 4 in 37 games he's already part way to matching Campbell's rates

Looking at that video he actually looks a bit heavy and slow to me. Good feet and in the right place quite often though

He’s not exactly getting the best reviews from their fan base. A couple of the old ‘ eu levaria Lincoln pessoalmente ao aeroporto’ being chucked in. (I would personally take Lincoln to the airport)
