I’m hearing fairly strong rumours that Keogh’s debut could be delayed as he has left his zimmer frame back home in Milton Keynes.

At 35 years old I'm finding all these over the hill zimmer frame comments a little insulting 😂

Keogh's league debut for Town in 2007 was a 2-1 win at Millwall; goals by Andy Booth and Malvin Kamara. We only won one of his 8 other league games and suffered some nasty beatings away from home.

For the life in me, I cannot remember him at Town. I think that says more about my memory than his performances.

Guess it's a case of needs must. Never rated him personally but hope he can do a job short term. If he scores tonight and Town win that will be a good start.

Looks like with the injury to REG we needed someone who was experienced and could play immediately. The Keogh signing makes more sense when it’s looked at pragmatically.

It's a bit like when people watched Happy Days & thought Fonzie was cool. He wasn't cool, he just looked like he was cool because you were comparing him to Ralph Malph & Potsie. I thought he looked slow, legs gone & bang average tbh. It's just that Keogh's 5/10 performance was significantly better than that of any of our forwards, midfield or fullbacks.

Derby County are reportedly set to appeal after a tribunal ruled they need to pay £2 million to former captain Richard Keogh following his controversial sacking last year.
Keogh was one of three players, alongside Tom Lawrence and Mason Bennett, involved in a drink-driving incident in October 2019.
The Republic of Ireland international sustained a serious knee injury and had his contract, which still had 21 months left to run, terminated by the East Midlands club.
Earlier this week the Daily Mail revealed that a tribunal had ruled the Rams needed to pay Keogh £2 million in compensation as his dismissal was unfair.
According to Sky Sports News, however, Derby are appealing that ruling as they look to avoid what would be a significant financial blow.
The Pride Park outfit already find themselves with financial issues and are under a transfer embargo after failing to pay their players fully in December.
Having left Derby in October 2019, Keogh joined MK Dons in the summer and is now back in the Championship with Huddersfield Town after making the switch this month.
The experienced defender looks set to return to Pride Park next month, with the Terriers due to play at the ground on the 23rd of February.

I can just see it now. 0-0 - 89 minutes, Mbenza corner, Keogh 1-0.

Remember this game well, 3-1 down to Cheltenham (and some think now is bad), Keogh smashes it in from 35 yards in the last minute then Beckett scores a perfectly legitimate goal straight after that the ref disallows. Infuriating to say the least!

looked good passing it backwards to Sarr every time.Had nothing to do what so ever. Good steady debut I thought. You could see he was looking to make forward passes all night but the lack of movement in front of him meant he had to stick to working it along the back 4. Did notice in the first half about half a dozen times Keogh knocked it sideways to Sarr but a couple of metres in front of him, encouraging him to move forward onto the ball as he got it. And each time Sarr just stood still and let it go past him and Tofollo had to come back and retrieve it before it went for a throw. Think Glennon mentioned it in the commentry. Didnt notice it in the 2nd half so I imagine 'words' were shared about it at half time! Something along the lines of 'Just because none of these other feckers are moving, doesnt mean you can't Nabi !

I always thought Fonzie was pretty cool , unsure of Keogh, though our squad is looking pretty depleted so I am not about to start complaining. Perhaps we can argue over Fonzie during the next few days as they do on certain subjects in off topic !

Arthur Fonzarelli was cool, and it's not fair to compare him to our defence, but he definatley scored more than our strikers ever will

Thought keogh did ok the other night, didn't over complicate things and stuck to the game plan of passing across the back (probably against his better nature).. he could have played like a billy big bollocks but he just blended in, nothing risky, nothing flashy which is what we need at the back. Our weakness at the moment is where we're leaking most goals, at left back..Toffolo, who was once again awol for Millwalls goal

He was marking his man in the box when the ball came over, but no-one else was beyond him helping him out. Although it's a bit unusual for the left back to score coming in from the right wing.
