Last I heard they were selling well and they were expecting over 10k that was last week I was hoping and expecting in that region, thanks for the confirmation though. The club should be pretty happy with that given everything that’s happened. I think it's an excellent showing tbh considering we've had 4 relegation battles on the trot and still don't really know if we're gonna be fully allowed to attend. I think the club are pleasantly surprised

I managed to get a ticket for the Euros final today. Cheapest ticket available behind the goal and its a tenner more than I've paid to watch 23 Huddersfield Town games next season. Really put in perspective the great value of our season tickets (or maybe the rip off that is UEFA). Get em bought Town fans

Most of the group of lads I go with getting them tomorrow so that’s 6 and a few others waiting to see what business the club does

Just bought mine and the lads, even got his for £109 after I questioned the price of his ticket. It was showing as £129 on the online site. A quick email to the ticket office and all sorted. If anyone else is renewing just check for the junior/ under 18 tickets, my lad was 16 in May 2021 so qualified for under 16 tickets for next 3 years. Absolute bargain from the club !!

Have there been any noises from the club as to how many we’ve shifted? Good/bad/indifferent? One for maynardblue if they are around probably. Last I heard they were selling well and they were expecting over 10k that was last week Thats about what I would expect...given the 11k who renewed for this past season, how rubbish we've been for the last 3 seasons, along with largely uninspiring transfer moves that look more like desperately trying to fight to simply stay still, rather than push things forwards. Add the uncertainty about what next season looks like still in terms of the continued risk of being amongst a big crowd and then being forced to stay at home for 10 days for no good reason because you've been Tracked & Traced due to being close to someone who had no symptoms, but had a test, and you have no symptoms (and possibly also a negative test). Throw in plenty wait until the last possible moment, and anything above 11 or 12,000 would be blooming fantastic - anything above 10k probably shouldn't be seen as unexpected by the club.

I’ve renewed but it’s a bit harsh on me dad who is 75 and pays the same as me! Great prices but always thought seniors had a slightly discounted rate. Can tell he’s a Yorkshire man. Bloody pensioners

Finally decided not to renew, mainly because my wife and I don’t yet know when we’re going to be completing on our new property. Just too much uncertainty to be able to justify being away for a couple of days every other weekend, plus the slight remaining uncertainty over Covid. Simply not the right time to renew for me this time, unfortunately. I’ll take my chances and pay on the day whenever I do come up. I’m confident I’ll still be able to sit in my old seat! Hopefully will renew 2022-23.
Got a ST for Sutton United instead. £219. Sold nearly 1200. 15 minute drive rather than an 8 hour round trip for home games. Won’t be the same, but I’m looking forward to it.

Still yet to renew, I was hoping for some inspiration in terms of signings to get my 6 tickets over the line, rising covid cases, lack of ambition, poor atmosphere.... its a tough sell if I'm honest. Depends on the mood I wake up in tomorrow.

Finally decided to renew mine today. Not sure I'll get to more than a handful with it being a 2 hour drive and very shortly having a newborn in the house. It just didn't feel right to let it expire.

After much deliberation and discussion, my brother and I along with my son have renewed. 2 main reasons; 1) the club have introduced a new price band for those under 23 and as my son will be off to university in Newcastle in September and won’t get home very often during term time, this new price band saving £100 per season was a big plus. Well done on whoever decided on bringing it in, it certainly swung me into renewing his. 2) the business we have done so far has imo been positive without being overwhelming and with LOB & Toff been named as vice captains, which hopefully means they’ll be around next season, and the possibility of moving Bacuna & Mbenza on and utilising any funds generated there for new signings, the signs are more encouraging. Added to that we’ve missed the pre-match beer and folk we only see on match days. Just hoping now we can actually all get into the ground again and enjoy something close to the match day experience. UTT

Against my better judgement I've renewed 5 of the 6 for next season.... it must have been the high from England beating Germany and the of good feeling celebrating a goal in person would bring. I've bought the tickets, now Big Phil it's over to you to buy the players the loyal fans deserve.

Honestly, I wish I could justify renewing at Town again but it’s just not practical this time, though I admit I won’t miss the journey (I’ll still get to a good few games though). I’d love to be able to get back into the old routine being at the stadium, but hey ho. I’m genuinely looking forward to seeing Sutton though in their debut season. They’re such a nice and principled club, but I think they’re a bit naive and I suspect they’ll find it difficult.

I decided not to renew - I don’t like the way the club has been run, we have had 3 seasons of awful performances plus being charged an extra £50 for not choosing to watch on ifollow last season.
Then I took the kids to a T20 game at Headingley and it reminded me of how it feels to go and watch live sport. And I renewed.

Then I took the kids to a T20 game at Headingley and it reminded me of how it feels to go and watch live sport. And I renewed. I know you ultimately did renew, but I wonder how many sales will be lost because of that hike for people who quite reasonably didn’t renew last season or renewed and got a refund when it became obvious the club wouldn’t be able to deliver what people had expected/hoped they’d purchased (access to a season of live football). I renewed the day before the season started last season so I knew what I was getting (I’d originally decided not to bother but then quite enjoyed watching the streamed pre season friendlies alongside a (virtual) chat with mates). I renewed for this coming season yesterday. At £50 more (and knowing others had a discount simply because they’d decided they were happy to watch Town televised last season) would I have? Quite possibly not. I like the idea that club loyalty is rewarded, but it’s not a mobile phone contract, it’s a football club. All fans should be paying the same. The loyalty reward is keeping “your” seat or maybe getting access to a discount at the shop or something.

Renewed.
I'm still waiting for some more signings though. If we start the season with what we have we'll struggle again.

Fully understand everyone has their own things going on, financially. However, one thing I don’t think any Town fan can moan about is the cost of tickets for home games/season tickets. We’ve had it so good for so long we have lost perspective on the actual cost for most clubs. Stockport County adult season ticket price is £380.

I'm happy as Larry with the pricing but them being inexpensive in relation to other clubs isnt an excuse for any repeat of the last 3 seasons. I expect us to compete in the top half, struggling for 3 seasons is enough.

And QPR tickets are available from £225. We can't really use the cost of relatively over priced tickets at other clubs (in other divisions) as justification that our tickets are 'cheap' or whatever. We're Town fans, not Stockport fans or Oldham fans (£160 if renewed early April and you were a season ticket holder last season, £230 now). A Town season ticket is good value at whatever price any given individual thinks is good value. For some that might be £200, others might value it at £500 or more. The trick and balance is the club need to put the actual price at some kind of level that they don't lose too many who value it towards the lower end, but don't put it so low that they don't maximise the revenue opportunity. For me as an individual, I value a season ticket at about £200, and I definitely won't pay more than £300 (obviously I have historically) - at that level I'd decide to reduce my attendance and pay on the day for 8 to 10 games across a season (something I did do historically for one season when I didn't renew for 'footballing reasons' 🤣(I was coaching a team on a Tuesday evening) ). But I can fully understand why others would have their own different personal value. Its not about affordability, its just perceived value.

When considering the season ticket price perhaps supporters should take into account the VAT element, at £259 the club actually receives £215 .83 the balance £43 .17 goes to the government. That works out at a nett income per season ticket holder of £9.38 per match.

If you think they should be priced on the season ahead, which I’m not sure even Russell Grant could predict, I’ll let them know you are willing to pay an outstanding invoice for season 2016.

Renewed when they first launched. did it on the finance package so have already paid a few instalments. Wasn't particularly excited but seeing fans back in stadia at the euros has whet my appetite. I'm sure we'll still be crap but I'll enjoy the craic with mates and family.
