This digital ticket idea is brilliant for me, now when I scam a ticket from a family member who can't make a game they can simply text it to me

I have to admit this makes it an awful lot easier to let someone use your season card if you cannot attend. Not sny need to give them your card just scan it accross. I have to say thid is one of the best marketing things the club have ever done. Well done Town.

The club has always said that a ST/SC can only be used by the named holder. We all know that people abuse this, but it's hardly done by the club in order to make it a "best marketing thing" is it?

When we got promoted to the PL, you were then allowed to transfer your ST to someone else officially - through your online ticketing account. It wasn't allowed before that - although, obviously people did do it.

Never understood why you shouldn't be allowed to let someone else use your seat if you've paid for it, provide it's not an adult using a child/ OAP seat.
If I buy a pint of milk from Tesco's their's no stipulation on who I can allow to drink it.

I agree, but there are things we use in everyday life which are non-transferable, usually licenses (which this effectively is).

I’m gonna miss a few matches in the upcoming season so will give my card to family and friends. It’s my season ticket, I’ll do with it what I please.

I said this to the ticket office when I bought the second one. They were perfectly fine with it.

Another two bought here. Fully expecting some rancid football but can't wait to be there again.

Just wondering has anyone got their card or received the email about the digital card yet?
New season card holders do appear to be very much an afterthought on the main site, I’m not sure I’ve seen an article directly address us once.
Though given the disbelief in some quarters when I made the ‘New fans’ thread, I suppose it’s understandable. 😁

Bit of context on how well priced our season tickets are in relation to others Are Derby really not selling season tickets?? How bizarre. This is covered in the Derby thread. 8,000 are entitled to a free season ticket as they had one last year. Derby are saying that if capacities are cut due to Covid they won't be able to have more than 8,000 so they aren't selling any more. Trouble is, they haven't even sent out any to those 8,000 - they have to claim it match by match. The more cynical of us think that Covid is just an excuse - it's more likely that there's something going on behind the scenes and they are delaying getting season ticket money in.

Looks abit naff on TV seeing the FM lower closed up and empty but see the reasoning behind it. Our grounds too big for us... Well it isn’t is it, when we’ve had it full every week in the very recent past. What is it with town fans desperate to declare this club smaller than it actually is. The answers in the question "fans" 🤓

It’s quite simple really. If they were charging anymore than they currently are at Town, I (and I suspect many others) simply wouldn’t renew. And north of £500! Are you having a laugh? 😆
