If we had them 5 in August I’d be a confident betting man and say we’d be a lot higher up the table than we are. I'd also be confident in saying that had we not had all those injuries and a generally bigger first team capable squad, we would be a lot higher up the table. Town appear to have been in a predicament in the last 5 years in that money has been unable to buy us the quality, and probably more relevant, the attitude, we need. Maybe this approach of signing free agents will yield better results.

Without getting too ahead of ourselves. If we win Wednesday relegation would seem unlikely.
With that in mind do we really this guy? Unless we’re thinking of keeping him next season, is he not a waste of money?

Unless we’re thinking of keeping him next season, is he not a waste of money? He’s yet to kick a ball, he might be better than what we have? Forward planning is always good and he’s low risk until the end of the season, if he impresses he stays if not he goes

Unless we’re thinking of keeping him next season, is he not a waste of money? In my view, after the debacle of fielding a team with no recognised striker in it and of having benches with no forward options, we should make sure that we’ve got some proper forwards in the squad. Got to be worth a look with a view to next season.

Can confirm Niasse will be revealed tomorrow. Same source was the one who told me we signed him when we did just never expected it to take so long to get officially announced. Will be in the squad Wednesday. Gives us something different

He and sanogo are effectively on trial for the rest of the season.
Play well and you presume we will give them a contract.

And isn’t Rhodes signing too (unless that’s confirmed as BS). Leaves us very top heavy but I think Niasse and Sanogo will be battling it out to be the one who gets the renewed contract. I’d keep Campbell as he would be a useful squad player.

Signs today scores the winner on Wednesday against the massive 5 year contract after then irreparably tears his hammy on saturday. Most clubs make new players sing a song on a chair to initiate them to the club We instead we make them play murder ball relentlessly until there hamstring goes

Are we expecting an evening announcement then, or will it be another day of refreshing twitter at work?

Can’t see that myself he’s rumoured to be on a wedge Rhodes coming back still seems a bit “odd” especially given the seemingly acrimonious way he left, having said that I can remember then Spurs owner Alan Sugar throwing a pissy fit with Jurgen Klinsmann, unhappy at the way he left to join Bayern, to the extent he threw one of his shirts during a press conference, claiming “I wouldn’t wash my car with it” but within 2 years he was back on a seasons loan. In football I guess the mantra is never say never.
