Is Mr Gerrard north of the border trying to emulate another club's record from last season? A club he knows only too well I hasten to add. As of tonight his team have played 27 games and lost none! Have only had 7 goals scored against them and are an amazing 23 points clear. It certainly looks like he is serious about winning something big! Fitba, don't you just love it?

Get them in the English league along with Celtic.
Both teams are in a different league to the rest of scottish football (pun intended).

Its a poor league, he has done a decent job but the demise of the plastic paddy's has helped. Imagine a team like Tottenham for example in a league with West Brom, Rotherham, Bristol Rovers, Colchester, Boreham Wood and Halifax, have this each year with Boreham Wood being replaced by Yeovil and vice versa, add in the fact the attendances and income from Tottenham getting in the champions league each year, also the TV income from being on the TV every week and you would get the same result. I don't want to see teams from Scotland playing in England, we have enough problems without adding additional religion issues and the general dislike that they will bring, leave them to it. Gerrard will move on in time and measure his record then.

I suspect that one of the things that helped me understand Scottish dialect as I was growing up and then working with many of them, was the fact that my parents always bought a copy of the Sunday Post every week.
It was the cartoons section which was heavily patriotic, Oor Willie and also the Broons... I got the impression that the former was their version of Dennis the Menace...
Which was obviously written and printed up there, was it Dundee where DC Thomson was/is?

Interestingly I saw, the other day, that Rangers have had the most penalties this season but also not had one awarded against them yet 🤔

It'd be nice for Stevie G to finally win a title, wouldn't it? And a new team winning the SPL too.

And yet Celtic are *only* 6 points ahead of Hibs having won just 2 more games than them...Livingston down in 5th have better form than Celtic over the last 6 games.

Theres very little kudos in winning the SPL with either Rangers or Celtic, especially if the only other horse in the race is a bit shit.
But hes doing what he can do to be fair.
Imagine hes a shoe in for the Liverpool job when the bearded german whinger leaves.

The TV income is poor in Scotland, the season we went up we got paid more for TV than Celtic I have the sky tv package and asked if it was possible to block the football from Scotland for a small reduction each month. The call centre is in Scotland as those with sky will know, i had a nice conversation with the chap on the phone, he was a Dundee fan. He was scathing about the standard of football in Scotland, also the fact that the big two get all the tv time, money and interest, he wanted them to leave the Scottish league to make it a fairer playing field. Quite interesting chat with the guy, i mentioned Town as you would, he follows English football quite a lot but doesn't have a favourite team, he always likes the underdog, so is hoping Sheff Utd stay up this year. And no i didn't get them to block but i got a reduction.

Living in Manchester, I remember Rangers’ visit to the city for the UEFA cup only too well. That, four times a season? Nah.
Scottish football would be much better without them from a competitive point-of-view if the Old Firm pissed off, but better if they joined some sort of pan-European league.

There wasn't a Welsh league when Swansea and Cardiff (and Wrexham & Newport - and maybe some others) were formed. Rangers and Celtic were (are) in their own national league system already, no need to allow them in.

You have to go back to 84/85 to find a winner other than Celtic or Rangers.
