New Administrator *CONFIRMED*

Hi all

As you might have gathered it's no secret that we have decided to advertise for another administrator to help with running the board. Both Graeme and I have discussed this on and off ever since we went down to two admins, but didn't think that it has been necessary. However, neither of us will be around for ever, and it would be good to get a different perspective on things from someone who could develop new ideas. I'm afraid the pay is lousy, but you will get the satisfaction of presiding over the board for the benefit of Huddersfield Town fans.

The new admin will have to be able to work with both us and needs to be proactive, visiting the site on a daily basis in order to check and register new posters, deal with queries, assist in actioning reports and a multitude of other tasks. Below, I've put down a list of essential and desirable requirements. Don't be put off, I had none of the desirable expertise when I applied and lack of these will not be detrimental to your application - it would be handy, but it is the essential requirements that are important.

Essential requirements

1. A commitment to visit the site daily in order to process administrative tasks.

2. A resolve to try and be fair when adjudicating reports.

3. An ability to work with the present admins (we don't want a yes man/women though, we want someone who can bring fresh ideas forward).

4. Someone who can take criticism and does not take slights to their character personally (i.e. having skin the thickness of a rhino hide!).

Desirable requirements

1. Some technical experience in designing or administering web pages, or/and administering forums.

2. An HTFC fan who is also an exile (four of the last six admins have been). I can go into details of the reason for this if you message me.

3. A sense of humour.

Finally, you have a week to apply. The closing date is 1200 hrs 23 Feb 2021. All you need to do is send a message detailing your interest, making sure that we are both recipients.
