I’ll throw a quid on a hamstring injury within 2 weeks putting him out for 6-8 weeks. Any more for any more?

Well worth the hours listen, goes someway to explaining what went wrong, seems an honest lad and doesn't blame other factors other than himself. I'd suggest people listen to this before jumping the gun Thanks for sharing, a very enlightening watch that just makes you feel sad for the lad. If we do sign him, hopefully the manager can give him a bit of self belief.

He’s played 41 games in the last 5 years scoring 3 goals in the process and had more clubs than Jack Nicklaus, no thanks. That’s before you start with all the baggage he comes with. How fucking desperate are we!

I'd suggest people listen to this before jumping the gun A classic case of too much, too young. But, as you say, he seems to have got his head in the right place over the past couple of years. But that's the worrying thing, because even with this epiphany he'd had, he still can't hold down a place in a team. 14 appearances over the past two years - mostly as a sub. He's only 28, so his talent shouldn't have gone. But maybe it has? We all know of kids bursting on the scene at 18, and then on the scrapheap at 23. His head may now be in the right place, but has his cutting-edge skill deserted him? Let's not forget, he's not the only kid that Ferguson thought was the best-ever: Thornley (wonder what ever happened to him...?), Adnan Januzaj, Macheda. Sometimes that potential is never fulfilled.

Didn't Fergie also once say that Phil Jones would go on to better than Duncan Edwards?

Morrison is surely 2021’s Puncheon. Sad to say if he comes in it’s another nail in the coffin. He sounds like our kind of player.Skilful, bad attitude, lazy and gets paid far too much money!! And I've heard it said that he is a bit of a prick too!

As a player it’s no brainier - he’s a very good footballer with god given ability
But equally there has to be a reason he’s never delivered on that promise, why no manager has kept him about and why frankly he’s not in the PL and only played 4 times for den haag before his contract was ended
We are in a relegation fight - we can’t have off field distractions. No talent is worth that risk
Good luck to the guy but not at Huddersfield right now. I hope there’s no truth in this one

We are if the bloke is going to be a circus off the pitch Central midfield also is the one area we don’t look too weak in; Hogg, LOB, bacuna, Vallejo, Holmes, maybe eitimg back before the end of the season (Pritchard in theory!)

I hope there’s no truth in this one Too late I know you’re often on the money so that news is disappointing Seriously what an absolute joke signing - we’re not that stretched in central midfield. No one was clamouring for an extra CM in late January. If money is tight surely other positions can be prioritised The club look to have fully lost the plot and are in full blown panic stations IMO

Desperate times mean desperate measures... it's a gamble, if it is a real opportunity to sign him, we have to take it. Given his record, there is something clearly not right with him, but what is unquestionable is his talent & we cannot turn that down... we need a change in results quickly.
If he is a car crash, we are in a position where he can't do much harm as we have nothing to disrupt right now, we are already losing week after week.
Good luck to the lad, he may just save us.

that's instantly an improvement over Holmes

There’s no denying it’s blind panic, there’s also no denying he’s a better player than the dwarves.
As long as he doesn’t turn out to be distraction, and we are willing to simply sack him off immediately if he is, i think it’s worth a go. We’ve missed Eiting more than people realise.
He’s a player with actual Premier League quality, something that in normal circumstances we’d have zero chance of signing. If things go as we’d like and we stay up and next season we’re a top half team, he could be our bit of quality.

This is the best way to put it, we can't get much worse so he's hardly going to derail our promotion push is he.

that's instantly an improvement over Holmes As usual I will give the lad a chance to impress. But look him up. He’s played 30 games since DW was set on as our manager. All the ability sadly zero application. 28 years old and never held down a starting place Fingers tightly crossed he sees this as his last chance and grabs it , but I won’t be holding my breath

He’s played something like 10 games in the last few seasons hasn’t he, won’t he be another fat Danny ward If we can get 10 games out of him in 3 seasons then no, he's not another Danny Ward.
