We’re really dragging this announcement out You do know we are being run by a clown who screws up everything and then claims he tried. Hey, leave the Prime Minister out of it. You know he's trying his best.

Must be a bad injury to fail medical. If it was him been out for a few weeks I'm sure deal would still be signed. Could do with Maynard to confirm this

Look on the bright side. It that saves us the disappointment of him getting injured in the first week of training and it's saved PH a few bob in wages.

Something pre existing showed up in his medical. We're doing further scans and getting another opinion before committing

Think more so if the club are unsure of somethings that's flagged we just won't sign him. Will all depend on this next scan and the other opinion?

Don't be ridiculous, totally un-called for..... ....As if Danny Ward will be fit for pre season 🙄

Pay per play and should be no problem ( unless signing him means not signing someone else)

Pay per play and should be no problem ( unless signing him means not signing someone else) People on DATM regularly say "give X a pay per play contract". Can I ask someone to give me an example of a player who is or has been on such a contract in the EPL or Championship leagues (i.e. where the bulk or all of their earnings are on this basis)?

John Terry was on a deal like this at Chelsea towards the end, and ManU offered Owen Hargreaves a deal. Basically, it amounts to a nominal salary and then a more hefty appearance fee.

Take the point on taking the risk for a short term contract but if it’s going to stop him playing this season and he was only going to be a fall back option anyway then why bother the risk financially.

Huddersfield Town plundering the transfer market for ineligible players and ones who are injured. Couldnt make it up and defines desperation.

Fingers crossed this second scan is promising as were absolutely starved of any decent final 3rd quality.

Is the guy actually injured or is it just an issue with his medical not having any credible info can be confusing He’s been training for over a week without it issue I know that for a fact - it’s obviously a previous problem that’s flagged on a scan - hopefully it’s nothing serious and we can go ahead with it
