Sarr is not much of a presence? What an absolute joke. He has presence in both defence and attack at set plays. Agreed. Sarr's biggest strength is his size and heading ability. He has put them to great use defensively with some excellent last ditch tackles and headed clearances. He always the one who gets his head to lofted crosses. And, as you say, he's proved a threat at the other end too. It's when the ball is on the deck that he's liable to make a mistake, but that is nothing to do with a lack of presence. More a propensity for a cock up! Presence isn't just getting your head on a ball or looking big it's the effect you have on your team mates and the opposition, it's a much wider concept. Hogg has the most presence of any of our players, he makes his presence felt with his gob, positioning and feet and he isn't the most imposing bloke from a physical standpoint. If Sarr fills his potential however we have the makings of a healthy looking back line for next season along with Vallejo, REG, Toffolo, Rowe, Pipa and fingers crossed another quality CB too. UTT

Do you think hes going to kick fuck out of all the Derby players because the club sacked him? he's not 15 years old TBF Digs if you asked me whether a club captain was more likely to get in a car driven by a p****d team mate and then allow him to race two other p****d teammates
or
Kick a few of his Ex-team mates on his return I'd say the latter was more believable. He's not 15 but sure as hell acts like it occasionally Even more confounded, when his so called team mates Tom Lawrence & Mason Bennett run off leaving Keogh injured in the car. Derby sack Keogh, but fine Bennett & Lawrence

Looks like Vallejo will have to step forward into the #6 role, a shame after his performance at CB Saturday

Always the same, one step forward and two steps back. Or in Ward’s case, no steps at all. Praying that Hoggy makes it, he’s vital to us for a game like this.

Praying that Hoggy makes it, he’s vital to us for a game like this. if he's out, who would you play in his place? This is the problem in my view. Hogg is the one irreplaceable player we have, there is no one who can do the job he does. Guess Vallejo will replace him and much as I like him, he simply does not have Hogg’s mobility and tenacity.

If we want to stick with 3-5-2 and vallejo at cb, does cc trust Scott high to play the #6 or does he put obrien there and use it as a chance to bring Phillips in.
Personally I see vallejo moving into the 6 and hope reg or Crich come in, just to add a bit of mobility to the back 3. The thought of Stearman, keogh and sarr from the off does make me shudder a bit with the lack of pace.

This has to be a joke. Can’t remember many teams with this amount of bad luck with injures Even Lossl didn't have a back injury in the Premiership Which he certainly should have done, given the amount of time he spent bending over to pick the ball out of his net.

REG is slightly behind Stearman in his recovery so possibly on the bench. I could see him replacing Stearman to get some minutes into his legs so will be Stearman, Keogh and Sarr if we stick with the 3-5-1-1.

Just saw the press conference.
These injuries Holy hell.. Every week it gets worse.
Out of those we need Hogg fit in these fixtures. For sure Val can step in..although not as good as hoggy in that role.. For me his better performances have been when he has been an extra CB as in the cup AND Saturday.
Hogg out damages two positions for me.

Has Rowe kicked Toff to keep his place 😜 Seriously, a blow especially if wanting to play a back 4. Something gotta be wrong with the amount of injuries we have. Did them down the 62 have as many When duckworth took over.

Getting knocks is one thing but getting injuries regularly that keep players out for months is something I just haven't seen before. There must be something about training which contributes to this, surely.
