I think that you are right, but this season we need something different to what we were looking for last year. This year we may be loosing two of our better players and we do need a bit more quality further forward that will take a little more quality that we are being linked with to date. It is still early doors and we have not lost our better players as yet, but I believe that some nerves are beginning to show as we are not sure what Deans plans are and what funds will be used for transfers and what will be used to pay him back. Maybe Dean can come clean when the club is fully transferred back to him, we will have to wait and see. It certainly seems to have gone quiet on the ownership front, I wonder what the hold up is? I also wonder if and when Dean assumes full control if he has a buyer lined up? All seems to have gone quiet regarding rumours of a takeover from the former Ipswich bloke. It went quiet around the same time all those sanctions got put on Russians. Maybe the rumours of where his fortune came from are true? |

It's worth remembering that news of the potential takeover went quiet at about the same time as our good run of form made promotion to the Premiership a realistic possibilty. Given that scenario, valuation of the Club would be extremely difficult.

Think our scouting team deserve a bit more credit and confidence than theyre being given after their successes in the last year or so. Its an inevitability that we will lose our best players. Just like pretty much every other club.( Im just delighted we've kept hold of Nichols as he's the most important player we have IMO ) But we've shown that we are capable of spotting good talent and improving our squad without spending vast sums. Its when we DO spend big money that it tends to unravel! Have faith. They'll be working on all sorts of deals just now. Some might require LOB or HT to leave first, and some wont. but as ever, so many of these deals are part of a chain of events that has to happen first..ie we can't have player x until his club sign player y , who need another club to sign player z... I hate it when someone talks actual sense. Agreed.  |

Him and Toff have every right to go where they want now, I fully understand why they would want to leave with this potless fraud running the club. If they stay fair play to them and thank you for caring more about the club than our chairman does.

Can we let go of this Nottingham-drama, it’s getting cringey now. Yes, some of their fans were twats for parts of last season, but let’s be honest some of our fans were too. Yes the ref were horrendous and we have the right to feel hard done by, but surely that’s not nottinghams fault, and regardless there is nothing we can do about it now anyway, the sooner we move on the better. The more money we can get from O’Brien and Toffolo the better, if that means that they are off to Nottingham or Leeds so be it. Maybe the money we get won’t be reinvested but in that case at least we are closer to being debt free so Hoyle can move the club on. I suspect and have always suspected that Toffolo and o brien were not 'enough' for a newly promoted nottingham forest owner and supporters.
Cooper may well have a different opinion but the expectation of his owner and that of the fans is likely to be much higher than his considered, professional football manager's one.?

To be honest I'd use it to reduce the debt to DH to make the club easier to sell. Then use any other transfer income - Pipa, Toffolo etc - to help with any income shortfall this season and (hopefully) minor transfer fees. |

Just a chat I had with someone and you can take it or leave it but the Forest Owner was quite rude about both O Brien and Toffolo, their fees and wages. They were not 'good enough' for Forest or the Premier League. Like I said take it or leave it. Seems the Owner and the support are seeing things differently from the Manager, already?  |
