It’s a no from me, many reasons including covid I just don’t think we’ll be allowed to go in the numbers and the way I want, mask etc.
I’ve got used to not going and haven’t seen a game on tv for at least 6 months, sometimes I don’t even know the score until the day after.
Mainly though it’s the recruitment, signed utterly woeful players. Yes I get we’re skint but the signings of Aarons Ward Holmes Keogh Sarr Sanogo Niasse Keeper from Man U 😂 Defy belief they are L1 at best and most would struggle at that level.
Compare those to Schindler Hefele Lowe Katchunga Quaner Ward
Transfers if done by professionals can be done for value for money unfortunately we don’t seem to have too many in the transfer department who know what they are doing.

I think I’m in an obvious minority but just don’t get how else to make my feelings known to the board than not renewing. Seems most are happy to let Phil continue his gradual running down of the club. I genuinely do care about the club and feel not renewing is pretty drastic as will mean I probably won’t get to watch my team for a while (or as often as I would like)- I just feel we’re at a critical point in our history and having this guy and his team shape our future unchallenged could cause damage that could take decades to rectify. The writing is on the wall for us - we know the plan was to bring Holmes to the club in the summer - surely that’s an insight into the shambles of a summer transfer window that’s about to come if we don’t get Phil to sit up and take note that we’re not happy.

No, for reasons mentioned previously on other threads. Some great points made by MT, about football being more like a game of chess, with all the endless fannying around at the back etc, VAR and so on. I’ve just been reading an article by Henry Blofeld concerning the introduction of “The Hundred”. No more wickets, to be replaced as he says by the ugly word “outs”, while batsmen are to be called “batters”. The fielding position of third man will be just “third”. As HB says, these alterations are both insulting and pointless. He refers to the woke agenda and wonders where will it end? Will “silly mid off”, “fine leg” now be offensive and “straight bat” homophobic? Change is not good. Stop the world I want to get off. If chess is like football then I must have been playing it wrong since I've never been slide-tackled or had a ball blasted at my bollocks whilst playing chess!!!! Lol

Lol I was walking past the entrance to a hotel the other day, and there were a couple of chess fanatics having a heated conversation about how good they were at the game. I think they were chess nuts boasting in an open foyer.

Undecided. Only regular SC holder since the centenary cheap ones, before that pay at the gate. The deadline appears to have been extended well after end of season so I may be influenced by our transfer activity. I will also be checking to see if iFollow will be included as there may be some disruption if the third of infections in the autumn turns out worse than expected. Sorry to hear MT will not be returning. I fully understand the disillusionment with the modern game coupled with the extra travel is making Town a hard sell. We've chatted at most games over a good few seasons now. You shall be missed, sir and hope you find somewhere local that suits.

No. Unbroken since 1979, and sporadically had one before then from 1968. I'm finished with watching "live" now. Hoping like hell that Lincoln get promoted and I'll see Town at Sincil Bank once a year. Are you Lincoln based? Grantham born me sen Small world me too!

My first two childhood games were at the London Road ground when my dad took me in the late 60s. I keep thinking I must go and watch a game and as I will shortly have an abundance of time next season might be the time to do it, restrictions permitting.

However , you do realise that Phil will have no idea you haven't renewed and even less idea that it's a protest. So in terms of your 'gesture' against the ownership it will fall on deaf ears. The second point I'd make is it's 'our' club..your club...not Phil's even though he owns it (for now). Owners come and go but it's the fans who keep the club going, not out of any 'loyalty' to the owner, or the manager, or the staff that work there or even the players currently playing for the club....Huddersfield Town stands as an entity in it's own right, with it's proud history..and that is what you support. Somehow you need to detatch yourself from the ownership and the management and tell yourself it's the club you support, and no one , ever, is going to take that away from you ?

Next season will be like the days at the John Smiths when you could pick the row you could have to yourself in the upper tier of the Riverside.

Yes, been going since about 1970 and had a ST for as long as I can remember. Seen far worse than now. That is true. I've been watching since 1969 and seen worse. But I've never really felt less enthusiasm from those running the club to achieve something. So I'm having a year off, having just wasted £249 this season.

I would disagree entirely. Not renewing is the most obvious and logical way of displaying dissatisfaction. He's a businessman and sales figures on a spreadsheet are the first and obvious thing to look at. To me it's Hoyle mainly at fault. He oversaw the recruitment of the absolute dross in 2018/19 who have effectively destroyed the club's short and long term future. If Hoyle hadn't then asked for the parachute monies then this situation would have been mitigated, however we are now utterly f*cked as a club.

Do you still live there? Grow up there? No, left in 1961 to head to Manchester before coming to Huddersfield in 1965 and hence my HTFC affliction. Still have relatives there and still have an affinity for the old place. Are you still in the land of gingerbread?

We moved from 4 hours away to 2 hours away last year and getting a SC became a realistic consideration. With COVID, we decided to wait until 21/22. It’s not about what league we play in, it’s about playing with desire, fight, determination and never giving up. Watching a team of disinterested, half-arsed, overpaid, serial losers plod around trying to maintain possession above trying to win a game is absolutely not worth it, at least for me. Until I see a shift in desire from chairman to player alike, I’ll not be rewarding the Club with my money.

If I was our chairman I'd be seriously concerned at how the poll looks so far, as it seems to me we're potentially losing a lot of loyal fans. Add to that the "floaters/newbies" who will not bother and we look like having a massive drop in income. He should act now. Personally I hope to move to the upper tier near the South stand, preferably with an aisle seat as I piss a lot when I'm drinking. Every cloud How can they be 'loyal fans' if we are loosing them?

Exactly - when times are tough for people you support them - 54 years I've supported this football team - there's too many consumer 'supporters' now. I've renewed - if some don't want to then don't complain when in the future you can't get an away ticket.... cue default lazy 'happy clapper' type responses. It's either in your blue blood or not - UTT!
