Thread should be amended to "Time to go and give Bromby a massive pay rise!". For me he's become the most important person on our payroll - certainly the one I fear losing the most. His performance won't have gone unnoticed by other clubs. Interesting to read both the poll results and the comments early in this thread. It shows how you need to be patient with new appointments (Bromby, Corberan, Alex Ferguson ) - no doubt the same knives will be out for Danny Schofield if we have an uninspiring season this time. Dean in his radio Leeds interview last night confirmed tied bromby down to new contract.

Wouldn't worry about that for now.

If the crowds were back I think Bromby would probably be gone With apologies to digz, I think this one is pertinent. CC admits he is a better coach now than when he started here. Likewise I expect that Danny Schofield is not as good a coach today as he will be in a year's time, two years' time etc. It's also not always apparent to us as fans where the credit for good bits and the blame for bad bits belongs. According to the And He Takes That Chance podcast, a reason for our upturn under Carlos was Schofield's intervention about something. A year ago there was Phil Hodgkinson interview (possibly the one with that horrible shirt) where he claimed that Carlos was highly rated amongst the players, even as we'd just had a shocking season. Bromby took a lot of flack for stuff that wasn't in his remit at the time but it was repeated so often that it snowballed. Perhaps a salutary lesson for us all to have patience at the times when things aren't going as well as we'd hope.
