With the NHS, don’t you know he’s got Covid 😉 Covid - bullshit! It's a fucking smokescreen so we don't have him available for selection. Same for Toffs I suspect. And Nicholls & Ruffels. Are they going too?

For some reason i always thought LOB was a Southerner ! Mind you I dont think i have ever heard him talking He's from Colchester isn't he but I think he moved up here when he was young Not even a hint of an Essex accent so I'm guessing very young when he moved north.

I wasn't suggesting that all players with purported Covid are leaving the club I was suggesting that those players who are likely to be leaving are being reported as unavailable due to Covid. Think Venn diagrams and that malarkey.

Daily star this morning claiming Leeds are now prepared to meet our asking price for Lewis and are readying a bid of approx 7m. 👋

Imagine we will sell him just in time to not be able to replace him leading to the same same old excuse of it was unfortunate timing when the deal went through, as the money we receive for him is never seen again. This looks increasingly likely… excellent

Think Venn diagrams and that malarkey. I suppose we'll get our answer if they ever play for us again, although it is plausible. FTR, I suspect they'll both leave but that doesn't necessarily mean the Covid claim is false.

Met a guy from Basildon that drank lager top with a dash of blackcurrant as well but that was 40 years ago. Here in Kent, lots of decent beers from small breweries although in lockdown I was having beer delivered from Thornbridge brewery in Bakewell.

Heard a bid was accepted by the club last night however LOB has declined the opportunity to speak to the club concerned. Sounds like Billing MK II.

"Yes, I know you'd prefer to join "Club A", but "Club B" are the only ones who have met the asking price. You are welcome to speak to Club B now, and if Club A meet our asking price, you'll be welcome to speak to them too. Got a decent fee for Phil Bill. Hopefully the same for LoB.

If this is true, I would assume that he has been told that he can not talk to club A until they meet the asking price. It could be that we he waiting and hoping that club B comes in for him, they may not or may not meet the asking price so he will have to reconsider his stance. Club B may have gone elsewhere by then though and he will have to stay where he is. Or he may be aware how desperate we may be for money and is trying to get us to cave in. At the end of the day this is all speculation and it is best to treat it as such.

From the telegraph:
Leeds closing in on £7m deal for O'Brien Leeds United are edging closer to a deal with Huddersfield for Lewis O’Brien, with hopes of a package worth £7million plus add-ons can be agreed.
O’Brien, who has been sidelined for his club’s last two games, is on Marcelo Bielsa’s radar following his displays under Carlos Corberán, who was a coach at Elland Road until heading to Huddersfield this summer.
Bielsa wants O’Brien in a deal before the transfer deadline closes and is also in the market for a winger.
Doubt we'll see him involved tonight now

And now Nixon saying the clubs are still apart on valuation, so someone's talking shit On one hand I want him to play tonight as it gives a better chance of winning. However, a potential serious injury to a potentially 5-10 million pound man....

I especially like the bit £7 million + add-ons - "We're in the money...". "Sidelined" sounds like that we are not playing him because his signing is imminent, not that he has been isolating due to covid... we'll see tonight. The best bit was, "Bielsa wants O’Brien in a deal before the transfer deadline closes"... that's how transfer windows operate!

We are just weeds bitches By the sounds of it we've been anything but... Was speaking to a leeds fan who was saying he wished they'd had a chairman like ours back when they were selling off all their players for peanuts, Howson, Becchio, Snodgrass etc. Was genuinely surprised at how we're digging our heels in and knocking back offers below our valuation.
