Strange, I thought he was particularly poor last night - one of the worst of a bad bunch. Understandably perhaps, his mind seemed elsewhere (about 15 miles up the road).
I hope the deal is done soon. I'd be inclined to drop him for next game even if he's still here.

Its kind of a shame he played last night. Scoring the winning penalty in a shootout is a pretty great way to sign off.
Even if it was a 1st round league cup game against a league 1 team

He definitely put himself about a bit so I don't think he was trying to protect himself. Just seemed off the pace which you would expect following a virus. |

I don't disagree with that statement, however the move for the goal (that Holmes should have scored) and almost all attacking 'threats' came after he'd been substituted. |
