Read on Twitter a few ppl here and in Brazil saying personal terms are been agreed and some think it’s on a permanent not lending( as Brazilians say)

Even the most rose tinted Town fan must find that a little hard to fathom Not just any young lad from Brazil, Flamengo’s “jewel” no less. I mean, if he was THAT good... you would at least think he would have made the Brazil U20 and U19 squad given how big a club Flamengo are. And considering lower-end PL teams. But then I have no idea how it works over there. I can only think he’s desperate to get two does of the magic Astro Zenica jab and has somehow convinced himself it’s made at the plant on Leeds Road. Weren’t we s’pose to be interested in some striker from Flamengo in January. Went to some J-League side with Iniesta (yes, that one). |

Maybe time to temper some of this enthusiasm. As far as I can tell, the lad hasn't broken into the first team at Flamengo and his footballing exposure has pretty much been limited to youth football. Not saying, he won't be any good - lots more risk involved in this type of signing.

Not saying, he won't be any good - lots more risk involved in this type of signing. True, but he plays for the current Brazilian champions, so you could imagine that playing time might be hard to come by, especially when you are competing with Éverton Ribeiro who is the captain of the team, who has played recently in the South American WC qualifiers for Brazil. |

Sounds like he might actually be a decent fit, lots of talk of creativity which is something we sorely need. Issues mentioned are things that will come with coaching and experience but the basics sound good. If he manages to adjust to the UK and Championship football (which I still have my reservations about) and the price tag is decent then he might well be worth a punt. |

For a kid who hasn't broken into first team football yet, his Twitter game is strong. 200k followers which is up around the same level as Declan Rice and Patrick Bamford. He's obviously very highly thought of back home.

I’ve been watching Prichard have a personal crisis in that position for three years, the idea of replacing him with a Brazilian youth prospect is just exciting.
