11 million for those 2 is cracking business for me ... only worth that to town because they are good lads, not really because of football ability. Having been in the Premier league recently they are first year players at best. If we had been promoted in May I wouldn't have been surprised to see them warming the bench. Good luck lads, you deserve your chance and I hope it goes well... see you in 12 months. UTT. 😂 good one.

Looking forward to their interview banter at Forest about the penalty incidents and ain’t it a funny old game how well it’s all turned out in the end an’ all that bollocks.

Disagree, O’Brien is going right to the top for me, hopefully we’ve got a big sell on He has some improving to do, not sure what aspects of his game you consider currently at Premier league standard, his main attributes carrying the ball and ball retention won't do forest any good when he's facing 9 players pressing on him vs say man city with everyone behind the ball, they will just nick the ball off him, you need goals in the prem and he hasn't managed many of those and assists, with chances so limited I don't see him suddenly turning into Frank lampard. I like him, wish he was staying in the championship, but can't see him thriving unfortunately, he's a top championship player for me, but doesn't have the pace and physical attributes to make it in the prem.

If the pair were going to an established Premiership club with a proven manager then they would probably do OK. As it is it will be fitting into an almost new team with a manager who has never been above the Championship and prior to the 19/20 season had only managed youth sides.
This could have been Carlos but I don’t think Town would have brought in so many new players. Also it took Forest quite a while to get going last season. If that happens this time they will be dead in the water by Christmas.

Town don't need these players now. We have replacements. This might be a real problem if they stay.

Time may prove me wrong, we'll wait and see. However, it seems Schofield intends to play 4-2-3-1 and the new signings would seem better suited to that system

Possible team Nicholls Turton Pearson Lees Nakayama Hogg/Kasumu Russell Thomas Rudoni Mahoney Ward That left wing spot is up for grabs. Holmes could have it at the moment but Koroma and Mahoney need a chance.

Your opinion, which is fine. The attributes? The absolute engine he’s got, the ability to Nick the ball off someone and drive it forward 60 yards without breaking sweat. I think the ability to do this, plus the fact he glides past people with ease, will mean he’s an asset to most premier league teams outside the top few. Having said that, I agree, Forest ain’t the team for him long term - Backs against the wall most weeks. In terms of goals and assists… Has Kalvin Phillips even scored in the prem? He’s worth £45m and an England international.

Yep, people assuming he won’t improve from where he is now. He’s 23 and got about 4/5 years til he ‘peaks’ - I’ve made a bet that he’ll make an England squad at some point with my mates and I’m sticking to it 😂😂 I just hope it’s after he signs for a less scabby team after Forest get relegated next season

So well done Town for getting Sorba onto a new deal.
Toffs be good for Forest for 3 years once back in Champs, although paying through the nose for him.
Lack of pace and dodgy defending make him a mile off a prem player. Had a superb run with goals and assists but I'm far from sure that form would have continued.
Hoping Ruffles can become better than Toffs is now, in time. We need to shoe a little patience with him if he gets the nod to start.

I'm not disappointed about both of them leaving because it was completely expected but I am disappointed that O'Brien is going to Forest. He could have done much better
