Just curled one in to make it 3-0 against Birmingham from the B team in the premier league cup He's not going to get in Carlos's team by doing silly things like that |

Great to see some of our long term injured players now getting some match fitness in the B team. Grant could be our wildcard in the second half of the season, Rowe looked very good in a few games last season & we know Rhodes can be clinical in the 18 yard box, which is something we just don't have with Ward & Campbell. That, sir, is the spirit. A lot of fans are anticipating the unleashing of Grant, myself included. |

"I am still not fully match fit; as you can tell, I am coming off after 60-65 minutes and it’ll come with time, but to get games is the most important thing, whether that be the B Team or at any level. “Hopefully, I can get more games and get fit, and, in a few weeks, I can complete 90 minutes and step up" |

I’ve been clambering for Koroma to start over Thomas in recent weeks but I couldn’t quite believe just how poor he was on Saturday. Really shit. Surely a prerequisite for a professional footballer to check over their shoulder before receiving the ball. But no, lost it many times in dangerous positions. Get Grant and Rowe in at wingback, could not be any worse than the other two at the moment |

Rowe and/or Grant would be on the bench for me shortly. Let Koroma and Thomas (who hasn't played well since October) know that they have to improve cos the 2 young lads will replace them if not. Even if they didn't come on its still in their mind that a replacement is available.

We actually started the second half well on Saturday There was a moment where we pressed in a pack not just 1 or 2 - we pressured a clearance (think from the keeper) O’Brien won the ball by the dugouts … which led to the Holmes chance created by Koroma That positive high intensity play lasted 2 minutes Surely we have to see that we created the opportunity by 1. Pressing and forcing the error 2. Allowing Koroma the ball in the final third where he’s strangely more effective than the defensive third - odd that Surely? |
