I walked through the main car park and passed a Porsche Panamera with a number plate that read BR08MBY so an average player turned poor DoF does ok too Thats brave. Oh and stupid and egotistic. Could have been worse, could have been parked in a disabled space outside Homesense Birstall like it was when I saw it a few months back. Whilst its owner walked round in a full HTFC initialled tracksuit.

Extended contracts for these 2 is going to go down in history as one of Townβs finest errors. Short memory? Even if it proves to be an error (and we won't know the answer to that until at least 1st September), we've made some absolute humdingers that blow this out of the water.

My advise for Bacuna in Scotland. Drop that stupid walk. Stop that pathetic fake jogging thing, itβs not cool, you look 12 years old. Most importantly stop rolling all over the floor screaming when youβve not been touched, they will just laugh at you. Oh and limping all the time. Whatβs that all about? He'll be sent off a lot in Scotland I'd imagine. He always seems to take personal offence at any challenge that's slightly physical and respond with petulance.

I'll remember Bacuna for that daft clearance into our box against Fulham two seasons ago.

Imagine Morelos and Bacuna in the same side. The sale of prams and toys in Glasgow will go through the roof.

Definitely happening then. I know that I'm in the minority here, but I think that we've just passed up a good footballer, one of the most talented that we've ever had. I know that he rubbed people up the wrong way, but on his day - and I'll admit it should have been more often - the opposition found him unplayable. Good luck to the lad; he'll prosper against the generally lower league players that he'll come up against at Ibrox and elsewhere.

Absolute bargain for Rangers if you ask me. I can see him back in the Premier League if he gets his head down.

The lad has such quality and was, on occasion, a joy to watch. Just nowhere near often enough. On technical football ability, we have nobody else remotely close to his skillset. Still the right move though as he isn't going to flourish here, unfortunately.

He had one year left on his contract. Would he realistically have signed another one here even if we'd wanted him to? He signed for us when we were a Premier League club remember. Very likely he would have been moving on anyway in a years time so makes sense to get a million or so for him now.

I hope he does, we'll get some more money and hopefully by then DH will have been paid off in full. Bacuna is the probably the most naturally talented player we have/had, but can't produce at a consistent enough level yet.

Will be 1 million max

I hope we are looking at signing a similar type of player or one who can dictate play rather another that runs round a lot.

I've always rated bacuna on his day he can be our best player but his attitude let him now, he'll smash it up in Scotland just depends on his attitude

Itβs up to Bacuna now as Gerard wonβt stand for his antics as some of our coaches have done. Best all round for me heβs gone and to play against an inferior level of opposition most weeks.

I agree, but we learnt in the promotion season and the season after that you need a team of people playing consistently every week to be successful. The 10/10 player 1 game in every 6, who is otherwise 3 or 4 out of 10 just doesn't work. Bacuna may develop that consistency, but not during the remainder of his contract here.

As i walked alongside that car all it made me think was just how perfectly it sums up everything which is wrong with football. I walked through the main car park and passed a Porsche Panamera with a number plate that read BR08MBY so an average player turned poor DoF does ok too On his salary? Hmmmm, that's got me wondering..........

Will be 1 million max I'm not expecting much for Bacuna on this move, but the post I quoted was talking about him getting a move back to the Premier League if it works out at Rangers. Any extra money we can make from sell-ons is always welcome. But as I said, I just hope by then we'll have paid DH off if and when it comes and can use the money on the squad.

Does this outgoing open the door for an incoming , or is he one we had just written off ? We were told when Bacuna and Mbenza were sold we would re-invest. Creative midfielders desperately needed. We are fine for wide players.

I hope the lad does smash it because he has an awful lot of talent &, if he applies himself, he may well be sold on for loads more &, hopefully, we'll have a sell on clause.
If he does smash it mind, we'll still have been right to let him go cos he has had plenty of chances to smash it for us but sometimes you need a bit of a kick to see what you might be mucking up.

The guy is far too inconsistent for me. Great player for flashes but has also looked bang average for large parts. I am sure heβll do great in the SPL as 90% of the opposition is League 1 standard
