Northern Premier League? Bacuna is a waste of talent. He will look back on his career in years to come and realise what could have been if he had only applied himself. And we'll still be watching 100%ers with a tenth of his talent like the duracell bunny and Holmes while we struggle to create anything 😢 True...we could do with a better mix

Fair play to PH, he’s got one out for a fee. Bacuna won’t achieve anything up there, personally don’t see what Gerrard (who WAS a quality midfielder) see’s in this strolling one trick pony.

£1m potentially rising to £3m still seems to be the figure it's believed to be at Rangers end. We'll surely have a sell-on clause too.

If we have a sell-on then, yeah fair enough. I think he’s too interested in his Instagram life and shoulder slinking limping eejit walks to get his head down.
I suspect the Glasgee locals will sort him out!

Good luck to bacuna - there’s a top player in there potentially. A real maverick of a footballer
Signed for £3m as a punt (those where the days!) as a young player with potential. He wasn’t expected to be a guaranteed starter
Leaves having played over 100 games and not kicking up a fuss or sulking
I hope he goes on and has a decent career

At least his last contributions were scoring the goals that kept us up at QPR and Forest

I think he'll be good for them. Providing he gets the opportunity to play we should see some return when he moves on again.
Fair play to punxsutawney phil.

I hope the lad does smash it because he has an awful lot of talent &, if he applies himself, he may well be sold on for loads more &, hopefully, we'll have a sell on clause. If he does smash it mind, we'll still have been right to let him go cos he has had plenty of chances to smash it for us but sometimes you need a bit of a kick to see what you might be mucking up. Absolutely. We’ve seen glimpses of a great player. Unfortunately not on enough occasions. Sometimes a move is what’s needed. But having had 4 managers?? here not one of them could really get him going like we know he can. I hope it goes well and that we have a decent sell on clause. But I suspect he’ll be just the same as he has been for us and end up wasting his undoubted talents happy to be driving around in a flash car.

Another player out who won’t get replaced, don’t understand why people are celebrating bacuna least he had a bit of flair, something a trio of Hogg O’Brien and High really lacks. Wouldn’t mind if there was likely to be a replacement without him and eiting who’s creating in midfield now?

Definitely happening then. I know that I'm in the minority here, but I think that we've just passed up a good footballer, one of the most talented that we've ever had. I know that he rubbed people up the wrong way, but on his day - and I'll admit it should have been more often - the opposition found him unplayable. Good luck to the lad; he'll prosper against the generally lower league players that he'll come up against at Ibrox and elsewhere. You're not completely on your own. I'm a bit gutted he's gone, but I'm a bit glass-half-full / stupidly myopic, and tend to remember the really good bits - and the really good bits were, well, really good. But....he was bobbins, lackadaisical, inconsistent, easily-distracted, over-confident and disinterested for too many games. I'd completely forgotten about that own-goal against Stoke, for example. He obviously didn't want to be here, the club realised that and held out for a deal - time will tell whether it was a good deal - by renewing his contract. I don't wish him luck personally because of his attitude, and I don't wish him luck at those beggars (I hate Rangers almost as much as Porroh!), but I hope he does well if we have a decent sell-on fee. It'll be really interesting seeing him playing in a team that dominate most games*, though. *Except in Europe - heh.

Wonder if any of the fuckwits venting their spleen at him for extending Bacuna’s deal will apologise? Bit harsh. Especially with zero details on the transfer ( undisclosed yet again) The fact remains we signed him for 3m(?), have probably sold him for less and he’s turned up and played more often than not when he’s fancied it. A few flashes of brilliance here and there with some moments of madness mixed in. Yes we got a fee for him in the end as we signed him up for another 12 months, better than a kick in the teeth given our current financial situation no doubt but I definitely won’t miss his often sulky chops strolling around the pitch and won’t remember him more than some Billy big boots with a very high opinion of himself. Cheers Juninho, another who won’t be missed and easily forgotten. Just need to see his departure is not balanced up by us not being able to get rid of Mbenza.

But if we are stuck with mbenza he’ll eat all that up. Fingers crossed for another departure v soon
