I know nothing more than what I've seen on these videos, but rumours on twitter (yeah, I know) about him.

Never a good thing when players do that. You can see them not wanting to get injured but still not a good trait. Certainly can’t say that about O’Brien.

Would give us some physical presence in midfield, which give the size of the rest of our midfielders would be handy. Looks well equipped for our new role as set piece kings too.

They are saying £2-3m, surely that alone makes this a non-starter?

I remember coming back on the coach from Wembley saying, well at least when we come down after one season we will be in a great position to challenge at the top of the division. You just could not make it up how things have turned out could you.

You just could not make it up how things have turned out could you. I think this is the main gripe for most fans. We're not entitled or with ideas above our station. We just wanted to sit comfortably in the top half for a change.

Their fans must be pissing themselves at us whilst still receiving parachute payments

Their fans must be pissing themselves at us whilst still receiving parachute payments This is what gets me on the other thread about DH and people saying he's entitled to take his money back. It's not his money he's taking - it's the club's! The parachute payments and the saleable players belonged to Huddersfield Town not Hoyle. If he wanted his money, he should have found someone to buy it who could afford to pay him his valuation.

Quite ironic that Hoyle banged the drum to stir up the town fans regarding trying to put pressure on Davy to sell him the stadium shares, claiming it was holding the club back, but here we are and it looks like a certain person is now doing just that!

Yes, he was the custodian of the club rather than the owner back then ...

Surely it is who did the club BORROW the money from to do that

Remember when Falkirk was our feeder club?
Arfield, Murray Wallace, Kallum Higginbotham…we soon trained all their potential out of them.

That is not right though. Davy had no interest in Town other than if we went under The Giants were knackered as the stadium costs would be far too great for them. I still think Dean always had the club at heart but maybe it is just tough love. We need to be a business that sorts itself out without a millionaire dipping their hand in their pocket every month. It may seem like it is all happening too quickly, and perhaps that is right, but once we are debt free, and if our model works, we will be in a strong position. Probably won’t be challenging for the greedy league but I’m fine with that as long as we can watch some decent football and our club is financially strong.

I also wouldn’t be hugely surprised to see him back in the future. Whilst the money is in Hoyle’s pocket, he has the ability to do that. If he writes it off and the club squanders is then his ability to return is somewhat diminished.
