I have programmes mainly from the '70s and '80s, probably about 50ish. Many from the 79/80 season. From what I remember a couple from the early '70s. I re-read them all recently. Two people from DATM said they would pick them up but they never bothered; they're at my sister's in Holmfirth.
They are still there if anybody wants them. Just message me.

Dont norm buy programmes but bought during prem seasons to eventually hand them down to kids

And... let the clear-out commence! I am breaking up my collection and selling off what I can. Apologies for the poor quality photography; I'm no David Bailey! First up is a jigsaw of HTAFC player cards from the 1920s/30s. It's complete with a frame and the original box. Yours for £15 if you can pick it up outside the ground or Starbucks pre-match. And then we have the ORIGINAL CANON magazine advert featuring the lads in Town beany hats looking out over Leeds Road. This one comes in a click-frame. Yours for a fiver. Hoping to dispose of these at the Brum game if I can.

I'd still love a couple of seats/benches from the Old Leeds Road stadium. Or anything else from it to be honest, but seating would be my number one choice.
I was away in the military when it was all ripped down so missed taking a piece of my childhood with me.
As I'm over in New York I would have to arrange shipping, but sure that can be handled.
So if you've got one sitting in your garage gathering dust let me know.

So if you've got one sitting in your garage gathering dust let me know. There’ll be some out there somewhere. I put out a similar call around 12 months ago and got a response from a really decent lad who had literally been moving them from house to house (or garage to garage) over a near 30 year period. There were probably half a dozen of them and they were in bits but everything was there albeit in an unloved state, he’d been planning on restoring them but never gotten around to it and was probably unlikely to so was ok letting them go (obviously I paid him). I have got as far as stripping back most of the original paintwork and repainting them a blue as close to the original as I could find (same with the legs using a specific metal paint) and cleaning the numbers and nameplates up which has brought them back to life. There is a bit of welding work to do and I then have to find a spot to put them in the garden but we’re talking into next year before that happens now.

Some beautiful pieces there. If money was no object I’d be chasing all that memorabilia down and creating a tranche of items for show.

Pleased to say all my Dad’s old footy programmes eventually went to good homes but I’ve found a “rogue” one. It’s from when we played York City on Saturday, 11/08/90, followed by Scunthorpe Utd on Tuesday, 14/08/90, in the long forgotten Diamik Yorkshire & Humberside Cup and the one programme covers both games. Anybody remember anything about this pre-season tournament? Guessing I was there but cannot remember anything about these 2 games.

As well as two seats from Leeds Road I have two framed and signed shirts one of which is the Wagner promotion shirt and the other I think is the red and black striped shirt I got them for being a match sponsor ( Tracy in Hospitality can confirm) if someone explains to me in idiots language how to post a picture on here I will put them all on and all the money raised can go to charity a food bank in Huddersfield would be preferable

York Terrier, no idea how you post pictures as I don’t think I’ve ever done it, but I will be interested to see what happens. The seats (or a set of two) would be of interest for sure.

Hoping I’ve posted this in the correct place - I have several Town “fact boards” I’m prepared to let go for free to a good home, they’d ideally suit some sort of man cave. Picked them up from the club must be 7/8 years back along with a few other one-off items but I’m having a change around so they need to go. I’m reluctant to simply drop them off at the tip and wondered if anyone out there was interested?. There are 6 in total and measure 70cms x 53cms. Ok to let them go for free but any interested party would need to come and collect them, just let me know. Cheers

Only just got round to looking at some of these posts. I have an Infirmary Cup player's trophy - but it's from a Huddersfield vs Halifax rugby league game, I think from the 1923-24 season. Did it alternate between football and rugby league in the 1920's?

Just sold my Emile Smith Rowe card on EBay for £75! It’s classed as a ‘Rookie’ card which basically means it’s the first card for the player therefore commands a good price.
