Why oh why did it take us until 70 minutes to compete? Unlucky for Koroma, a goal like that would have done him the world of good. Whatever the opposite of a purple patch is O'Brien had it between the 63rd and 65th minute.
What needs to happen is that we need to come back from being behind and win a game ... only then might we have a bit of belief.

Brilliant to have all our resident ‘experts’ back on here. The ones who are happier when we lose so they can put the boot in. if there were points for moaning we’d be top of the league every year.

We have played Fulham, Bournemouth and Stoke. We are currently 8th in league with 21 points and a positive goal difference.
I've said it before, we are a midtable team at best.

If Turton never plays for Town again, I'll trade my xmas presents and stocking this year for it. Talk about fucking a game up early.
It's not the 1st time, it's also not the 2nd time we have seen his errors. It's the absolute norm. I suppose it isn't his fault, its whoever's recruited him in. He isn't Championship standard at all.
Striker and RB for January to help us.
Today was always a write off by our record there but I'd rather we go attack and pressure than that performance. It makes as if Town fans shouldn't bother going as its disrespectful to them, setting up to basically not play for the majority of the game.
Anyway, we are on 21 points, we are in the hunt for the playoffs, which we never thought. If Carlos sets up like this against WBA at home as it's always the ex Prem teams he shits it at, I'll fire a pie at him. Stop pissing ya pants over teams above us

Its the negative tactics from KO that is so annoying.
Have a go!! Lots of good results have come from that philosophy when the apparent mismatch has been far larger..
Very disappointed.

Most people expected a defeat and thats whats happened, we`re currently 3 points off 4th place, too much knee jerk reactionism on here, if we go an 8 or 9 game run without a win then thats the time to wet yer knickers.

Even the best optimists knew a defeat was incoming. It's not knee jerk, it's more the manner in which we set up, how we didn't even play for 80% of the game. 1st 45 didn't even need a keeper them. That's the only reaction I'd say people are saying and rightly so. Go pressure them, go attack them and put it on them, we aren't expected to do anything anyway.

Turton didn't have to make that tackle - he's crap. And no excuse not to challenge Billing when he headed down for Solanki. The free kick from Thomas 25 yards out didn't even trouble their goalkeeper. Overall giving them too much space in the first half with no closing down. This performance shows how much strengthening is required in January.

It’s frustrating really. Bournemouth are really a nothing of a club but are so far ahead of us financially it’s embarrassing. We should have gone and had more of a go but I fear the result would have been the same anyway. The gap in quality between the top 3 and the rest of the division is huge.

Id say its been the other way around this season. Average players working well together as a team Exactly Who are these decent players ?Good keeper in Nichols Thomas koroma Vallejo, Toffs going forward , lees decent defenders but slow, Duane got ability but soft as and Pipa injured ... All the rest pretty average championship players and some league 1 or worse standard That's fair but having average championship players in some part of the team has got to be good.

It also gives you a better chance with a win of returning to 6th place after a defeat than, say, being in 24th place. Strange that we haven't impressed consistently, but it just shows you can be relatively consistent in losing a few now and again, and still be in the top bunch.

Billionaire owner, big area to develop etc, nice beach and good weather in summer. They've flouted FFP before too. Would I rather be in their position, their history etc? No, they're absolute shite and when the owner sells up, divorces or gets bored, good luck to them then.

Every team town have taken points from this season made them fight for the points. Today Town didnt make them fight for the points, need to start doing that against these so called top teams.

We have done well, far above expectations. But we haven't played every side. There's six points between 5th and 19th place and whenever we play a top side we fold. We have a long way to go yet. But the playoff talk so early on was daft.

We should have gone and had more of a go but I fear the result would have been the same anyway. The gap in quality between the top 3 and the rest of the division is huge. £bn owner , a squad worth approx £200m ? ...it's just a mismatch of the relative wealth of the ownership. You could do that with any club if you were so minded...even Emley could be in the PL, playing in front of 5,000 fans...So yes, our players weren't as good as theirs, our players don't have that extra oomph that they have... if there was some 'lack of effort' from our lads you might wonder if it was a case of not risking injury in a game we were never going to win. If it weren't for the rules I'm sure Carlos would have put out a reserves team.

I’m away on holiday and not seen anything.
Bbc stats suggest we’ve been totally outplayed.
Not sure what Ollie Turtons done. But he’s taking a lot of flack to say we’ve not laid a finger on them.

We just dont even seem to even try in some games. This comes from the management. Its infuriating. Team selection, subs, negative tatics. I'm just not convinced. I said earlier we have rode our luck this season. Ive never thought we would stay around the top 6 and we're not beyond seeing a repeat of the second half of last season. How can anyone watch Turton this season and think Bournemouth is the match to start him? How? Its inexcusable.

I'm still confident we'll be there or therabouts, the other teams (aside from the predictable WBA, Fulham and Bournemouth) just don't look that good atm. Edit: We don't too sometimes, admittedly :-)
