Would like to see more of the kids getting minutes, rather than more short-term loans.
Would like to see Schofield go out too, to regain some semblance of confidence.

Reece Brown should go. He's nowhere near the first team, & although I never expected him to make much of a contribution this season, I can't even recall him being an unused sub. Best all round if another club can take him on in January.
Mipo has had little impact. It seems he's behind Ward, Rhodes & Campbell for a single first team berth with little to suggest he's going to displace any of them. Wasting a first team space & another body blocking the path of out own youngsters. I can't se the benefit to him being here for us, West Ham or the player himself if I'm honest. Cut the loan short.
Loans for more of our youngsters would be good. Kian Harrat is scoring goals for fun in the B team but not having a sniff of first team action. Far too good for the B team & not even making the bench in the first team suggests that the gap between B team & first team is (or is at least perceived to be) colossal. Somewhere on loan that needs only be a higher standard than B team football for him & any other B teamers that are too good for B team but not in contention for the first team this season.
Incoming? If a key player leaves or gets a serious injury then replace. Otherwise I'm not hugely bothered about bringing anyone in. We're too good to go down, but light years behind Fulham & Bournemouth. We can't outspend many of our rivals who are more likely to push on in January. This is the first season in god knows how lng that we're not serious candidates to leave the division in one direction or another. January is notorious for being bad value for the buying clubs & whilst there have been exceptions I see little point in pushing the boat out unless theres a particularly good deal to be had.
Fantasy shopping has me going for a creative midfielder on loan from PL team. Finding "the next ESR". But unless there's a particularly good deal available I'd rather we kept our powder dry. TBH, I'd rather we found the next Sorba Thomas than the next ESR anyway.

This Jan is like to see quite a few of the B team lads go out on loan for the rest of the season as high a level as possible
One of Gio or Nik Ayina Austerfield Jackson Camarra Diarra Harratt
If we could get most or all of those out on loan and they get plenty of game time that would be excellent for their development
In terms of incoming, a top quality creative midfielder would be top of the list for me. With players such as Rhodes, Rowe, Grant, Hogg and Pipa coming back from injury I’m not sure we really need much else.
I’d also like to see us bring in 2 or 3 more punts in the mould of Grant/Thomas

Would like to see an experienced defensive midfielder brought in . Vallejo will likely not play for us again and that leaves us with three natural centre midfielders. Someone along the lines of Sam Morsy at Ipswich.
Would also love to see a few of b team players progress through to the match day squad come the last few games l.
Outgoings , I envisage Reece Brown will want to go whilst I wouldn’t be shocked if Ruffels is after a move . Been unlucky with covid , injuries and Toffolo going through the first half of the season injury free .

Any rumours of Reece Brown going anywhere? You would think that's close to being top priority, unless someone comes with 10 mill for LOB.
Midfield got to be the priority area to strengthen. Need x2 if RB and LOB go.

Brown moved on and milo returned
Ideally a creative midfielder on loan and maybe a project player or two like grant and Thomas last January and that would be fine for me
Striker less of an issue as ward has stepped up and we have Rhodes and Campbell fit plus Koroma can play there - plenty of options for a side that only plays one striker
Like others I would like to see a few of the b team out on loan plus schofield. It would be great if a couple of them could get 20 games at a good standard between now and the end of the season

I just didn't see what he offered in a central role & didn't see what he offered at this level anyway. For me, he needed to drop a division or two and play in one of the wide attacking roles. OK, he's not going to trouble Mitrovic for top spot on the goalscorers chart, but he works bloody hard both to build attacks for team-mates, force errors from opposition defenders & actually carries some goal threat. His header for the opener vs Blackpool was superb.

I’ve not missed a second of our home games this season and I’ve not seen one striker that works harder than him.

TBF there are a few candidates for most improved imo. Sorba Thomas & Duane Holmes run him close & Scott High deserves an honourable mention.

We are definitely looking at bringing in a quality recruit in January. I have no name or even position, but just “very exciting signing” ….. “if it comes off”.

Norwich fans heard yesterday chanting 'f*** off back to Chelsea' at Billy Gilmour. Others saying he needs a bit of time in the championship. If O'Brien goes, we should be all over that

I wish people would stop mentioning Campbell as one of our striking options. I like his commitment but it's time he started thinking about his future career options.

We really need a playmaker in the middle of the park. Someone to take the ball off our centre halves and pass through the opposition press. He also needs to be decent defensively.
The role Phillips plays for Leeds essentially.
That player takes us from a mid table team to a top half, pushing for play-offs team.

Scott High could possibly become that player, but he isn't ready to impose himself enough yet.

He’s a way off the first team, but Camara looks like a good bet for what we need. High has the passing, but I don’t see him being the defensive screen that we’d need. He’s got a good engine and a good shot so play him further up the pitch, following the press up into their half.

He seems much better with the play infront of him and can't drive with it like O'Brien, rather gets us forward with his good passing range. If he can toughen up I think he'd be far better as the eventual successor to Hogg. I'd be amazed if he ever came close to as good as Hogg at screening, but he's already more capable at collecting the ball from defence.

Would like to sign Ben Siegrist on a pre contract from Dundee United. In his final 6 months of his contract and would be good competition for Nichols.
