If you're reading, Ron; I may not agree with some of your views, and indeed I may not like them - but fundamentally I like Ron, the man. The fellow Town fan.
Thank you for the things you've done for people - including me - that won't get publicised, but won't be forgotten. Thank you for the entertainment, the fantastical tales and the scarcely believable anecdotes. Sticking to your guns to the end, and that deserves respect. Safe voyage into the next World, may you find peace and some comfort, despite the physical pain. Rest well, farewell, and thankyou.

Oti appears to be hanging on as he's viewed both sites today but he hasn't posted for five days, which I guess is a reflection of the way he's feeling/the pain he's in. |

I'm only just picking up on this thread late, I've known of Ron K from almost the beginning of my town days/life sentence, from away coach travel and an odd trip in the back of the van to Swansea in 1984 on a freezing cold Tuesday night.
He's travelled everywhere with Town but also England for 40 years, often when there was only a couple of hundred & not thousands of pavement dancers in more recent times, off the usual tourist routes and away from the riff-raf where he could, but as everyone knows him ( who's 70+, joke ok 60), he has more tales than most, been successful in business (Weedfree empire) employed loads of town folk over the years and appears to have been able to do pretty much what he wanted throughout his working & personal life - good on him.
Having thankfully come out on the right side of my own battle with the big C in the past couple of years I cant imagine what he's enduring and sad to read the clock appears to be ticking. Just hope there's still a twist in this tale and i see you in the Vulcan one sunny day, otherwise it's been a pleasure to have known a little of him.

Weedfree ? - is that the herbal variety available from numerous loft spaces dotted around the UK ? - Or some magical way of keeping your driveway weed free - and which I would give an arm and a leg to do  |
