No, it's not a thread pleading for his reinstatement, but has anyone heard how he's doing? I know he was battling the 'big C' in his own inimitable style when he was on here and I'm hoping he's still doing ok and battling on

I wish Oti all the very best All the best Oti, I know only to well myself what it is like having to go through it. Spending a bit of time on here sometimes takes your mind off things, and imo you should be able to come back on here and at least do the same! |

Mum died of cancer in 2018, me 2 years later had open heart surgery at age of 54, know what it's like to have life changing illness. We take life as it comes.

For those that care - this is from the horses mouth: Otium is not in a good way, at all. Currently spending his days in bed and no longer having any treatment other than morphine to reduce the pain. Not eaten a proper meal since September and has lost a LOT of weight. He doesn't sleep much and he's now joyless.  He would like to thank everyone who's wished him well on here. He does read DATM still - just a shame he can't write this message himself. |

His time on here shouldn’t have ended how it did. At the end of every day, Oti is a true Town fan and for a long, long time, he was box office on here.
