Genuinely, I can't recall a single mistake he's made this season. It popped up as a stat during the first leg of Luton, ‘Errors Leading to Goals: 0’ Absolutely beast of a keeper, Man of the Match last night and Signing & Player of the Season.

Easily best in the league and that's not looking through blue and white glasses.
If he was at a prem team he'd be in contention for the England team 100%, but as he's with us he wont be.
I would expect that If we don't go up he'll be playing in the prem next season regardless.

Regardless of what happens at Wembley, as soon as the final whistle blows I want Deano to shove a pen in his hand & push a long term contract in his face before he even leaves the pitch.

In a season of stand out performances, where you normally struggle to pick out player of the season for all the right reasons, this lad should win the award hands down (every pun intended). Admittedly, he has much better defenders ahead of him but we have gone from conceding the most goals in the league to having one of the most clean sheets in a season. The whole team deserves praise as our defending starts from the front, but Lee has been immense, some superb stops but a brilliant calming presence, real command of his defence & shithousery of the highest order. I'd love it if the ceremony at the awards dinner ran over due to his time wasting.

When your playing as well as he is he could do with the defenders giving him a bit of room and not getting into his shorts with him. Twice last night his job was made harder by his mates getting in front of him, right in front of him. Edge of the box you'd back him to save everytime. His reflexes have been proved excellent, lets not keep testing em? THE CAT.

Lee Nichol has had a superb season, only mistake I remember, was at QPR! All in all that's very impressive - UTT.

I will never question another signing before seeing them play a few games for us. I thought he was a ridiculous signing given his club history prior to us and it being so important to get it right after Schofield having a nightmare last season.
I couldn't have been more wrong. I'd go as far as to say he's in the top 5 players I've seen play for us. I'd have thought there is very little chance of keeping hold of him if we don't go up.

In the town who I support there is a man who’s just a dream. He saves all the shots he’s the best there’s ever been. We all love Lee Nicholls, Lee Nicholls, Lee Nicholls We all love Lee Nicholls, Lee Nicholls, Lee Nicholls The best goalkeeper we’ve ever seen

The first line fitted the tune perfectly, then I lost it on the second. It would fade as quickly as the new Lewis O'Brien song

Absolute legend and not good enough to be signed for massive money.
I can see him being with us for a while.
We need this.

Without a shadow of a doubt the best goalkeeper I have ever seen at town. His stock must be as high as it will ever be and I hope to god we don't cash in on him in January.

If a big name first choice keeper gets injured at the World Cup or over Christmas you could see someone waving some pound notes at Hoyle to bring him in as a PL back up.

All depends on whether he wants to play or simply be another Jonas Lössl chasing the filthy lucre. And, by the way, he's 10x the goalkeeper that JL ever was.

Not many would turn down the chance to quadruple, perhaps, their wages. Lössl was the keeper in our best season for nearly 50 years so he's clearly deserving of far more respect IMO.

I’ve posted before that I’m always in the ground early. Nicholls warm up is great to watch. He strolls around with an air of arrogance and I mean this as a compliment. We have had some good keepers in the past but I’d argue never have we had one who was as influential to the team as Nicholls.

A fair proportion of our success last season was down to the air of authority Nicholls gave to the team. Its not quite been there much of this season but last few games he's been back to form and just giving that sense of solidity It might not be sexy but that's a start and a basis for optimisim to dig ourselves out of this self inflicted hole

Difficult to say as Lössl played in the Premier League. Hamer is a Championship standard keeper, but showed he was out of his depth in the Prem. Lössl was good in his Championship loan spell with us, but he did not excel like Nicholls has. So "pound for pound", Nicholls in the Championship is the best keeper I have ever seen play for Town.

Lee had a poor start to the season, like everyone else in our team, yet, he seems to be back to his best lately, thank God!
I had feared that he was one of those players who had the season of his life last year but he genuinely looks like the best GK in the Championship. I honestly don't know where we would be right now without him.
