Ok, we should just accept poor standards and allow it to happen again. Including using the technology should stop it happening. I didn’t even want to go up I stand by my original comment. Nothing to do with accepting poor standards, but there's literally more chance of Jon Moss actually physically shitting on our players than legal action leading anywhere. Everyone knows that. We'd be the laughing stock of the country Yes remember the Wimbledon debacle |

What about when the ball went to cooper for our throw in and he rolled it away from Toffolo. Pathetic c***. VAR and the penalties has already been done to death, but what about all the rotational fouling on O’Brien in the first half. Must’ve been hacked down 5 times when he’s gone past his man and was running on the defence and Moss let them get away with just a free kick every time. After a few times he should’ve called the captain over and told them it’s a yellow card every time. Piss weak. We were crap mate, simple. I'm miffed about the performce, tactics and the general way we went about the game. Were we fuck crap |

The strange think was, on the Tube back, no one was remotely pissed off.
As for myself, disappointed we lost but would have been more gutted if we'd have lost the Reading Final.
As for Forest, depends how kind the starting fixtures are for them. Get Man City, Chelsea, Liverpool in the first 4-6 fixtures and they'll come straight back down. Get a bit of an easier start and they might be OK.
One thing for sure they'll be on the end of controversial VAR decisions, but probably not in their favour next season.

Proud of our lads today and the season we have had, should have had two penalties today if the ref wasn't either bent or incompetant, fed up of the usual suspects coming on here saying we aren't very good stop Moaning all the time all room and gloom every feckin week

I would disagree about being a laughing stock, most fans seem to think we’ve been robbed of at least one penalty and think VAR is a joke, what part did it play apart from the only decisions it had to make was incorrect after having multiple angles and slow motion. Middlesbrough and Wycombe sued Derby Leeds and Burnley (maybe) suing Everton As I said, didn’t want to go up, but missing out on millions for the club when VAR was there to stop it from happening. |

Still so proud of the club for the season we've had, despite today.
Mega pissed off about the var/non var decisions, which have convinced me even more that var is there just to ensure that the decision is made to favour the "bigger club, one way or another.
So maybe today's result is a blessing in disguise.

Am I the only one that is on a media blackout for a good few weeks / months?.
No sky sports, no BBC (especially no BBC but no change there), no national newspapers. Nothing.
Will resurface media wise around the end of July.

Oh and got my helmet and body armour on here, but for me neither of those were 'stonewall' pens. I'm not saying they were definitively not pens, but had they been given they would have been very soft.

What a miserable few days.
Stayed at Premier Inn Wembley from yesterday- full of weirdos , apart from the fellow Town fans that decided to stay there too.
Went for a walk last night and it was as if we were on the set of “ Gangs of New York”
Only good thing was the Fans Park - great way to spend a few hours pre match.
Not seen the penalty replays and couldn’t see them clearly live due to my seat been higher up than Mt Everest .
Those that had reassured they were good seats were very wrong.
I’ve never felt so detached from a game before.
Anyway, I’m still convinced that the best things about the South are the M1 North or where I am now - the train from Kings Cross to Wakey.

Pedantic post, but a point of order.
Wasn’t the shot we had from our first corner on target?
Means nothing of course, but I don’t think we played as badly as some would think, when you consider the occasion etc. Forest did zilch in that second half, other than win that corner on the right. We lacked cutting edge, absolutely we did, but I thought we probably shaded the game in terms of overall performance. Two poor sides doing their best not to lose the game in 90 mins, and it took a crap deflection to win the game.
