No matter how good or bad you think they are they are nowhere near as horrendous as these Newcastle third kits: www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/61962841If Carlsberg did Sportswashing springs to mind ...

Don’t like any red on the home kit. Just wrong! The home kit is also a bit “busy”. I get that it’s difficult to always get it right when kits are changed every season, but just keep it simple.

Where have Castore spring from ? I'd never heard of them before they made the Rangers kit, now they're doing a few teams, cricket teams, rugby union teams and F1. Edit : just googled them, they're only 7 year old, they've got some right contracts 😯

Not struck on the home kit. Like the shade of blue, but the stripes are too thin for me and I don't like to see red on a home kit.
The away kit is fine, although the greyed-out badge looks a bit strange to me.
All personal taste though. Never going to satisfy everyone's preferences.

I had both the home and the blue away shirt, neither had the bookies name on the back. The bookies logo makes the black away shirt look worse.

Just purchased both home and away shirts.
Now covered either way for our trip to Wembley next year.

The red on the collar reminds me of an 80's kit, unfortunately it's the one while SuperMac was manager. First thing that came to mind when I saw it. Now that, to my eyes, is a truly horrendous shirt

In theory all the badges and sponsorship logos are muted, but the photo of the back of the black shirt does have a very white looking sponsorship logo. This maybe just the photo editing or the way the flash has altered the picture to enhance it to get more coverage for the sponsor. If it's muted in the actual shirt I may buy it, but if it stands out like in the photo I won't.

I’m at the mainland family home in Connel crux and not back home till tomorrow night and I’ll need to check the recent seasons tops on the home maid rail, but something is niggling me that fans had the choice of sponsor on it or not... Perhaps it was a couple of seasons ago, but all being well I’ll see ma collection tomorrow night and have a better idea ! If you were worried about them running out - not likely any time soon - and it’s usually in ma 3XL first that happens, they would send you out one and as long as it had no personal printing they have a returns policy for merchandise... Assuming your reasonably near the club shop, it wouldn’t be much of a problem, but if you’re in ma far flung shore and 3XL some items could be gone come my planned trip towards the end of November !

Strangely feel its generally the older lot, who've lived through decades of mad as feck kits (80s,90s), that are the hardest to please... and probably never wear them anyway
Personally i dont mind switching it up as it always comes back round and makes you appreciate a traditional one
Also think ones like the blackout arent really aimed at fat 50 year old pub men - looks like something that could be a hit as more a fashion piece/casual football shirt wearer...instagram era? Which is good for the club

Just hope we don’t have a repeat of that season next time round! Really not keen on the home shirt at all but quite like the black one although it does look a bit like a training shirt. Similar to the black ManU shirt Cantona was wearing when the red mist descended on that infamous night.

I think there’s a good chance willo that the next time around the home top will be possibly modelled on the 1923/24 first champions kit as it would probably be a good seller as it will be the centenary of that momentous and beautiful event in the history of Huddersfield Town !

No toffs or o brien modelling (looking into it too much?) The club superstore has (very sensibly) put a disclaimer beside both tops advising not to put players names and numbers on the tops before the season starts and won’t admit liability for those who do then complain if the said player departs Town before the end of the transfer window... Also a chance to study the kits close up on these pages now and marks are for me.. Home kit = 1 outta 10 (unusual for Town but very disappointing) not buying.. Away kit = 9 outta 10 ( different- yet slick and quite classy) definitely buying.. 👍 Just my humble opinion only of course ! So despite ma honest opinion on the new kits being very mixed as you can see above... Kudos where it’s due and Huddersfield Town have once again excelled here... Where and How ? One might ask - Well lowest League in Scotland Dumbarton FC are gonna set their good folks back £50 for each top next season - and this in the BOTTOM division of The SCOTTISH League no less.. Up The leagues a little and Celtic’s only release so far - the away top will set Hoops fans back £65 (£80 with name and number) and Rangers are also £65 for their home top next season and probably the same as The Hoops for player and number.. So to all in retail at Huddy Town - take a price bow in being very fair with your supporters financially in such testing finiancial times for many and not ripping us fans off the way certain clubs in The West of Scotland (yes that includes you Dumbarton) are robbing their folks off !

Anyone who bought a kit last season - what was the quality like? Any issues with sponsors logos coming off?
I bought a load of training gear a couple of seasons back, not realising the badge and Umbro logos were just printed on. 10 washes later and the printing was coming off.
At the same time, I bought the red away shirt from a couple of seasons back with no sponsor and it’s good quality. The badge and Umbro logo are embroidered. That’s still going strong now, even though it’s worn for a workout and washed once a week.
I’m considering the black kit, the badge and Umbro logo seem to be embroidered. However, since you can’t get without the sponsors logos I’m a bit worried they will start to peel off if I’m wearing and washing it regularly.

Home kit will be the worst selling kit for a number of seasons.
The away kit will be the best selling kit for a number of seasons.

If the views of a significant majority on here of DATM’s finest are anything to go by... then probably yes ! I easily spend the best part of two season tickets on Huddersfield Town merchandise and will probably do so again between now and this time next year, but I’m gonna give the home one a body swerve this time around - but we are a broad church with views are us Huddy Town fans and as dear old Auntie Kate said in a non footy related conversation the other night ‘one man’s meat is another man’s poison’ - so I’m sure (and I hope) quite a few will buy if firstly because they like it and of course also as it helps HTAFC to purchase new footy players !

Home kit will be the worst selling kit for a number of seasons. The away kit will be the best selling kit for a number of seasons. All guess work however. I suspect there are a lot of Town fans that think similar to me about these shirts: home is alright but definitely could be better, away is pretty nice but some fans are going overboard with how good it is. I have seen some fans say they really like the home and some say they think the away is absolutely awful. Its all a matter of opinion.

After about 10 seasons they start to look a bit iffy round the edges and you have to fork out for a new shirt 😙😉🤣. I might have landed from Manchester in 1968 and still be a 'comerinerer', but I've been well trained in Yorkshire Finance in the last 54 years. PS: I also know the Yorkshire war cry of " 'Ow much " in 3 different languages 👍🤣

There was a problem in our first PL season due to the fact that the shirts had to be produced really quickly. I saw lots of people wearing “Erriers” shirts.
