the multi coloured sponsor spoils the home kit, dark badge spoils the away kit and looks very plain, they may look better live as they say, when you see them hung up in the club shop with the mega spotlights shining on them, if not plenty for sale at cheapo prices come april, unless in a playoff place that is!!.

I'd say the red trim spoils the home shirt more than the sponsors logo

The subtle look of the away top is why it might be the first I buy in years and the first in even longer that I actually wear 😄 It's all subjective.

Got this horrible feeling that sponsor logo on the back will spoil it though.

The photos on the megastore site have the bookies name in white across the shoulders of the shirt 🤢 Thought of a couple of solutions Porroh: 1. Drape a pastel coloured sweater around your shoulders. Not only will you hide the logo you could also pretend you are from the Home Counties. 2. If we don’t make any signings - scrape off appropriate letters to reveal the word “Broke”. Hope this helps.

I've considered this, and we also have a heat press I could try and use, but it's an expensive mess if it goes wrong. Knowing my luck it'll just melt into the shirt or something daft

The dark badge, and other darkened features, are what make the shirt different, otherwise it's just a normal black football shirt. Our badge is a dreadful mess anyway, especially considering the tools we have available in 2022 and our recent success, so the less you see of it the better for me

Knowing my luck it'll just melt into the shirt or something daft If anyone hasn't got a heatseal press, heat the logo up through grease proof paper with an iron (rising the temp if it doesn't enable the logo to be lifted off at first, as I don't know what the fabric make up is?) It may leave an adhesive residue, but that will match the other grey decorations on the garment....

That could also dissolve the white ink of the logo. I wouldn't risk that.

I don't buy replica kits and after a game or 2 I'm usually OK with whatever the players have on so it's a non issue for me.

Nail varnish remover (acetone) is supposed to be effective at dissolving the adhesive without the need for heat. That could also dissolve the white ink of the logo. I wouldn't risk that. If you're not confident using acetone, this stuff would also do the trick I expect. In either case, application via a cotton pad on the inside of the shirt, rather than dunking it in a bucket of the stuff!

We could have got a design like this: linkWhat the actual f#ck !!! Think the opposing team’s players will be well put off by that strip - it could nearly be deemed off putting and almost illegal - there again this is Scottish Football where anything goes and there is no governance whatsoever and really if certain clubs chose to have Brady and Hindlay types on their board of directors the SFA and SPFL would look the other way.. Ironic it is that if the red and yellow stripes at the top carried on to the bottom it’d be one of the true Patrick Thistle traditional kits.. One thing for sure - that Thistle footy top is gonna sting a few opponents in the up and coming season ! Attachment Deleted
