If we wanted Harvey Vale before i imagine we’d still want him but i’d be delighted with Tino, i think he’s ready to take off. He desperately needs a good season or his career is on a downward trend.

Tino was injured and overweight but the transformation in 8 weeks was incredible - speed, agility, desire. Given another 4 weeks, I think he could have been amazing.
He certainly had more positives than negatives and had some natural abilities that you probably can't train into players.

I am not ITK but I wonder if he wasn’t a Carlos choice? I know he had a way to go to full fitness when he arrived but Carlos did not seem keen. Tino looked frustrated on occasions and that may have been his relationship with the head coach. Just a thought but under Danny perhaps he would get a better chance to prove himself.
Big strong and direct. We do not have another one of those IMO, but I haven’t seen the new lads yet.

Ok, I know that’s not football.

Defo we are wanting to bring him back, not a given that Chelsea allow him to though.

Don't get the fascination to be honest. If we had signed a young lad from Cheltenham on a free and he'd given the same performances we saw from Anjorin, the club would've been getting absolute pelters. If however, this young lad from Cheltenham had been talked up as being one of the brightest prospects in English football, but then we'd brought him in on loan carrying an injury and he only managed to show what he was capable of sporadically towards the end of his time here, we'd probably be quite excited at the prospect of him signing.

Why has this turned into a thread about Will Boyle? 😉

Very frustrating we had him 4 months and play him in ten minute cameos
Plenty time to get him up to speed, fit sharp etc - and we finally did Carlos would be reluctant to use him
Always felt like a wasted talent the coaching staff didn’t know what to do with

He's been sent home from Chelsea tour to complete a loan deal.

I don't think he'll be coming here never really got a run of games so doubt he would be willing to give us another chance

His lack of game time last season isn't entirely our fault as he came to us injured. Took a good while to get going.
From what I can gather on player reactions on social media he's well liked amongst the squad, will know the training setup well and has town to thank (as do chelsea) for getting rehabilitated and back on his feet playing. There's every chance he might reappear for town.
I think if there's any reason why we wouldn't get him its because we've just signed a similar attacking mid player in Rudoni. If it comes down to a case of one loan between either Tino or a Striker we'd lean towards the latter.

Thought it was a poor loan until I witnessed his Coventry game, this lad could be sensational and deffo worth a risk.

O’Brien was our most threatening midfielder last season, more so than Sinani I would say, but his end product wasn’t great. Tino really drives through the middle and must be really hard for defenders to stop. I would definitely have him back. Not sure if we need the Forest transfers to go through before this would happen. If so it could be on.

Change it round to the Wagner style of a ball winner, a metronome and a threat, rather than a ball winner and a runner 🤔. We have the players to play the Wagner way, even more so if Tino comes in.

I hadn't looked at the stats, and you are right Sinani did better in both respects, I was thinking more of how much threat he posed to opposition defences. I think Sinani was generally easier for them to deal with than O'Brien, and O'Brien's passing and movement contributed a lot to that. It will be interesting to see how we play under Schofield. Never a dull moment as a Town fan.

Cool as a cucumber. In an interview I seem to remember he said he never missed a penalty. Practiced in training a lot and would even tell the keeper which side he was putting it. Possibly a little over confident, but maybe that is a good thing in a goal scorer.

Thought it was a poor loan until I witnessed his Coventry game, this lad could be sensational and deffo worth a risk. Yeah. He was absolute class that day. I don't think we saw him again. He was just about to come on I think until Rhodes scored against Luton and then he was sat back down. Shame we weren't allowed 5 subs last season otherwise I think he'd have come on at Wembley.
