Whilst its clear that this is unacceptable, what exactly is it that people what Hoyle to do? He stepped in and stopped us going into admin (if you believe him.) He clearly doesn't want to invest (fair enough, his money) and probably wants to sell. But who in their right mind is going to buy a football club at the moment? So what options are left, gamble with money the club doesn't have and end up like Bury or try something different like we are now.
Genuine suggestions welcome, telling him to fuck off doesn't change the fact that he doesn't want to invest and there's no buyers We've just sold £12m worth of players - we wouldn't have ended up like bloody Bury by spending a little bit on some proper additions. It's like there's no middle ground with some Town fans. Any suggestion of spending and suddenly we're the next Derby County. Hoyle has unfortunately backed himself into a corner, and it's hard to know what the answer is now. What he should've done is do everything possible to keep hold of the one guaranteed piece of quality we had: Carlos. |

Players clearly don’t respect schofield I know where you're coming from with this but I don't think that's the case. I think its more that they have had there hearts ripped out mentally by the decimation of what was a promising position at the end of last season. Thanks Dean...... |

Hoyle has the ego to come in and say he’s saving the club despite the fact it’s his decisions that have put us in the shit in the first place. The whole club is rotten to the core. It hurts to see how far we have fallen from the atmosphere created when DW joined. Hoyle has fucked the club fucked his legacy and fucked his chance of a statue. As for the game this is turgid. It's clear we have to sell to keep the club afloat, both Phil and Dean have said that. How much we actually need is for clearly up for debate but I can't imagine there's 5-10 million lying around. The only way we'd spend that is borrowing it and risking the club

0-3 Too, too easy for Preston. This could be double figures. What did Hoyle expect. Hoyle was always the problem. Big Phil actually was soring it all out until Covid hit. He had jettisoned the crap, secured Carlos with a new contract, brought in some decent players and then was unlucky with the pandemic. Hoyle could not wait to get back in when things were looking up and claim all the credit. We are back to where we were when we lost to Lincoln. Can we get the brothers back? Weird how quickly the narrative changes. Hodgkinson's 1st season summer window we sold our best players and barely replaced them. Last year we didn't spend anything. Mbenza aside we barely did in the 2 before either. Suddenly it seems to be spend, spend, spend when we've seen before how wrong that can go. We've spent more this summer window than in the previous one. |
