Unfortunately I feel awful and tested positive for Covid today. As I've got COPD and chronic Asthma I've had to start a course of steroids.
Fortunately I've got Covid and won't be able to go Tuesday 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

We need to drop one of Russell or Hogg. We can't keep playing with two deep lying midfielders who offer no forward momentum. We also need to play with an actual winger on the left to stretch the opposition defence and help the full backs overlap. Rudoni isn't a winger and kept coming into the middle to get the ball. We need someone like Grant/Mahoney who we can ping balls into the channel to.

Funny how our third game is Preston again.
We played crap last season but got a win that kick started a bit of confidence.

At least it will give the players a good idea what it will be like next season in league one with around 5k in the stadium.

Preston was our 4th game last season (Sheff Weds in the cup then Derby and Fulham) Forgot about the massive 🤦 Anyway hoping for the same impact a spring board to getting better |

Wasn't planning on going because the tie is.......totally meh. Daughter saw the prices and asked to go, so now I'm going.
Hoping we win to make it worthwhile, but not counting on it.....just want to see a bit of effort, desire, passion, and ideally a first half performance that isn't worse than absolutely fucking shite

The only positives I have from last night is that the players had a ding dong at half time and they came out and won the second half. Could be a case of us needing the first goal in a game to kick start our season.
