First half was a million times better than the other 3 this season. Sorba Thomas has gone though. Not a clue what's happened to him but he just looks so far off the pace it's unreal.
Rudoni and Nakayama class 👏

A decent 45 minutes, although they could have had a couple of goals too. Apart from winning the most promising thing is that they look to give a shit today. It doesnt matter how we do it, but 2nd half we gotta make sure we see it through.
Just one season we might even get some decisions going for us. I just dont get what the referee is thinking there with the penalty. There is clearly no thought process at all. I would be amazed if any ref would give that as a foul outside the box, but this bloke couldnt wait to give it. Wouldnt it be great to be a team that gets penalties as soft as that all season.

Fortunate to be infront after the penalty and Stoke missing a sitter. Better performance and a decent set piece gives us the lead, we haven’t created a thing outside of that though. It's been one way traffic in our favour for pretty much the whole game, other than their little spell before and after one of the softest pens you'll ever see. We haven't been fantastic but we've looked like a team for the first time since the home leg of the play-offs. There's no pleasing some people... |

Much, much better from Town. Still not sure about the formation. Players seem to be too deep when we pick up possession and the pace of passing is a bit slow. Hopefully we can sharpen the passing up and catch them on the break 2nd half

Much better opening half than the last three. Still not a brilliant performance as the likes of Thomas still isn't at his best. The new RB, Nakayama, and rudani have been brill.
Was it a penalty? Iam sat in the upper core near the away fans so I couldn't see.

I’m pleased with a better performance, but let’s be honest it couldn’t get much worse. We’ve not been amazing but we’ve competed and scored for a good set piece. The difference today is we’ve been on the front foot and managed to win the ball back, so it’s been a big improvement but we still need to be better in the final 3rd. |
