He has only played for about 8 minutes {added on time mostly} Pages reluctance to play him makes me wonder why he picked him in the 1st place,a bit like the match commentators who seem to go out of their way to avoid mentioning Huddersfield Town. TBF he has a whole squad of players and some won't feature at all even in a side that makes it to the final. I do wonder though what Rob Page sees when he looks at Sorba. To me he's a wonderful crosser of the ball and a set piece master, but very right footed. Fuck knows why you'd play him on the left unless it was a dire emergency, fuck knows why you'd play him in such a defensive role unless it was a dire emergency and fuck knows why you'd not give him set pieces to take unless you have a truly outstanding option* as an alternative. * Yes, they have Bale, but even when Bale isn't on the pitch, Sorba is nowhere near taking the free kicks. Plus I'd have Sorba taking corners even if Bale was on the pitch. Bale on the end of a Sorba corner would give defences nightmares.

I, too, cannot understand why you'd have Sorba in the squad & not use his set piece ability. His all round game is nowhere near international standard yet, however, his set pieces are up there with the best.

I hope he plays against England and tears luke Shaw a new one. Bale and Ramsey have been poor for wales.
The only plus so far for us is that Sorba has had a rest.
On England how foden doesn’t get on the pitch is astounding.

Thomas in his desperation for stardom ply’s his time on social media and any television opportunity he can …… I bet he volunteers himself for every interview he can ………. The boy needs to learn what he says in his desperation for stardom is downright rude to lots of the people . Very average footballer desperate to be famous Ridicules and cruel. The lad is early 20s just up from non league at a world Cup which ironically is was first one in over 50 years. What a miserable world you must live in and what limited knowledge of the world and football you have.genuinely feel sorry for you Please don’t feel sorry for me , spend your time learning how to write in English.

I guess he will be back and available for next game. Would think that he will have done no more training than squad at home / in Marbella. Those playing most of the game tomorrow will have had more game time than him too.

He won't of learnt fk all in the last two weeks,Town might send him on holiday to cheer him up, for the disappointment of him choosing to be Welsh

Hes more welsh than Max Boyce driving Ivor the Engine whilst listening to a Tom Jones CD is our Sorba.
( now someones told him he's actually welsh and showed him where it is on a map )

If Page had any sort of brain he'd have looked at his squad and thought "right this lot are shit, who have we got that regularly plays for a shit team but still gets goals or assists?"
Bale is decent in the air, as is Moore, so why not play Thomas on the right to swing balls in for them? Makes no sense, they were hardly going to play teams off the park so you use what you have.

Not knocking their patrotism to whoever a lot of players choose but its not the same as it was, parents, born and bred etc etc..

Bale should not have been anywhere near the starting 11. He was shite 3 or 4 years ago. You can’t have a lad in the team in case you get a central free kick 25 yards out. Same with Ramsey. Goalkeeper hadn’t played properly for months. Get fit lads who are playing every week. Especially with a squad as limited as theirs.

To be fair I hadn't realised his mum was born in Newport so I guess it's not too bad and he probably does have a large affinity with Wales. Unlike someone like Tony Cascarino who had absolutely nothing to do with Ireland yet represented them 88 times.

Ooooohhhh the Welsh lads Had such passion..
And the fans all wore their silly hats..
And sang such lovely songs..
But they forgot it’s actually a football competition..
And were toilet blockingly shite..
Get yourselves fooooked off home boyos..
It’s time for the big boys to play now..

Well, either everyone who can play a bit leaves home and plays in and eventually for a nation that is more likely to win something or they dont??? Qatar all play at home??? The next Messi might be from the middle east, once he moves to Spain etc etc..

Not much in their armoury so you have a point, i know talks cheap and they'd have to have had enough possession, but would it have possibly been any worse for Wales.

Ok France will always have a good team etc...North African teams will lose their best players to their national team as early teens.. Some do retain their wish to play for their homeland, many dont. Its unlikely to get better..

What about people like Alphonso Davies who was born in a refugee camp in Ghana but then his family were lucky enough to be given a chance of a better life in Canada? Does he have to play for Ghana or can he play for Canada? Give something back to the country that supported him and his family?
