Seriously though some of our fan base are an embarrassment.
We don’t need our own lot turning against players and slating the club at every opportunity, there’s plenty of those from the media and other fan bases that’ll do that for us.
A brief look on Twitter and it’s full of people calling sorba all sorts of names, turning against him etc. Why’s it so hard to support the team through tougher times? Sorba will come good cause he has quality, slating him will only make things worse.
I genuinely think some enjoy it more when we’re shit, it’s really, really strange.

And before someone says how do you know it's toxic, etc if I've not been on it, I've followed links on here and other forums (forii?) and seen the sewer plenty of times!

Sorba smiling when he messes up doesn’t irritate me as much as when Zanka used to do it. Jesus Christ that was annoying.

Was a right brainbox back then (before it was cool to be a nerd) and our form teacher Mrs Hibbert recognised that I knew everything she was teaching the rest of the class and taught me Latin basics. Got so many bollockings for messing about in class because of boredom; she was the only teacher that recognised it was boredom and not me just being a twat The messing about was also a disguise for the nerd/geek/swot haters, although it didn't work, still got bullied for it. Proper bullying as well, not the gentle name calling that's classed as bullying nowadays.

How can the lad who used to travel by public transport from the east end of London to Borehamwood in Hertfordshire to continue playing football after being let go by West Ham, and earn a living in the building trade at the same time be called a 'Billy big bollocks'? What nonsense. Not exactly hard most young lads work a long week and play football most days of the week and pay for the privilege, not having it that any footballer can’t let things go to their heads it’s possible in all walks of life especially sport. What, at a professional level? The only people I have ever known to play every day are school kids. This lad travelled from east London, not sure exactly where, to Borehamwood by public transport, and from what I have seen that is a pretty shit journey. All weathers for training and playing and that will often have been at the end of a day working on a building site. That is after having the stuffing knocked out of you after being let go from the football academy you were in. I think this lad has his feet pretty firmly on the ground. The whole team seem to have been effected by personnel changes, coaches and players. Give them some time for the changes to bed in and lets stop picking on individuals.

Am I the only one that thinks this guy is literally taking the piss this season? I can't remember watching a player put in so little effort and give the ball away as much as he does! He strolls round the pitch and and grins when he looses possession, it's infuriating. The young lad that came on Pat Jones put in more effort in 15 minutes then he has in the last 4 games. Couldn't agree more . In fact it started towards the end of last season for me . Comes over as a Billy big bollocks since this international call up . Makes far too many mistakes.

I know our weakest link of the 11 starting last night. He simply does not do enough in the role given. He cannot be picked to take corners and/or free kicks. Norwich did not double team him, they had no fear of him. He gave them the ball or ran it into them. He lost every 50/50, but because he is always on the back foot he does not actually make many. He cannot head the ball in attack or defence to save his life and we cannot afford this occasional, very occasional luxury. Im not interested in hurt feelings or how far he went to work before he became a PROFESSIONAL footballer, he is one. Ruffles, like Turton before him is getting shit because they have zero cover from Sorba, zero assistance and no fucking chance when they back HIM up and he loses it seemingly without a care in the world. The whole team going forward or back are being put out of position by his wasting or losing the ball so badly and unneccessarily or his refusal to pick up and stay with his man. The kick up the arse is overdue and required, there is an important player for us in there but we just cant afford a half arsed one.

Start your own business, congratulate yourself daily whilst you go bust, blame someone else, repeat. If he just worked harder and smarter it would be enough for us to wait for his talents to affect games positively for us. We almost got a draw from a game we had almost lost after 15 minutes, the lesson is there for all to see, hard work by all with a modicum of talent thrown in occasionally and we can compete with just about all the teams here. There will be no magical signings or 'visionary' new coaching and tactical plan.

Let’s not bleat on like this is a hardship. Amongst them a couple were semi pro and travelled a hell of a lot further than ST , they wouldn’t of swapped it for the world, it’s a privledge to even have the chance to make it as a career. In fact one lad I knew played semi pro , worked for the post office full time and was a retained firefighter and traveled a bloody ridiculous distance to the club he played for - bloody loved it all and still chats about them as the good old days.

Sorba is excellent. And was a fantastic buy. Going through a rough patch. That’s it. Don’t think anyone doesn’t think on his day he’s great., On his day, is our day. When the team are solid and good so is he?? On our bad days he is either missing or worse. His bad or utterley indifferent days outnumber the teams bad days. The question that has to be asked and answered by Schofield is how many bad or missing days does he get because he can take a corner before he gets a 'rest'?? Are we still pretending he has real pace, with or without the ball? We cant carry him unless the other 10 have a bloody good day, thats not happening at this time. Already said a load of times I would play him up front, along the line, either with Ward or Rhodes and not ask him to drop right back. He clearly has no real interest or motivation to defend.

I bet none of them were playing against professionals in front of thousands of people though. Our opponents will study the strengths and weaknesses of our squad meticulously (as we will them). Just because the opponent gets the upper hand on a Saturday doesn't necessarily mean that we weren't trying.

I'm going to make a few predictions:
1) Sorba Thomas will regain his form and move on to bigger and better things at a different club.
2) The same people who get on his back as soon as his form drops will also take a pop at him for lack of loyalty when he leaves for more money, higher profile club or whatever.
3) Those people will fail to see the irony in their stance.

You’ve not followed the full story, talking about billy big bollocks and someone quoting ST not being the type of player then quoting his non league days , so your point isn’t really anything to do with the conversation read early and then come back.

If Thomas was that good why aren't the big clubs already watching him. Personally i have never rated him, he had three corners on succession against Preston all were woeful, he cant tackle or even block a cross, his awareness is shocking and the first thing a fellow Town fan said to me at work this morning was, God Thomas is shit. No doubt i will get a few people pointing out that he has scoring how many goals! and assists and how many times does he get tackled and then remonstrates with the linesman instead of getting back and helping his team mates. My prediction is, the young lad Jones will go on and be a better player.

When 10 others all played and worked to their strengths and their limits we could afford the luxury of Thomas, we cant now, not until the other 10 are back at last seasons levels.unfortunately Thomas providing nothing forward or in defence means less chance of the other 10 picking up the slack at the moment. If he loses the ball virtually everytime and offers little or nothing by way of tracking back, picking up or tackling then its a waste of a shirt that a grafter could be in. Im a bit tired of waiting for him to 'spark' and be talented, a few tackles or marking might have helped a bit so far?

He'll have a solid career no doubt but I don't think he'll ever be sold for the figures some folk talk about. This is the problem at Town, same thing has happened to Russell, they have a few good games for Town, we're so starved of any quality players at Town for years that they can't play for all the Town fans tongues stuck up their arses and sticking 8 million quid price tags on them.

He is certainly out of form. Only he knows why he isn’t showing the same desire as he did last season.
At the moment he is a liability on the left with Ruffels.
On a positive note.
Yato looks a decent player as does the lad from Villa. We need another couple of that quality in before the end of the window or when injuries and suspensions kick we will be in trouble. Bollox even my positive point turned into a negative one. That’s 50 years of watching town for you.

Fair points, however I would have to disagree that we have been starved of any quality. Mooy, Schindler, Kongolo mark 1, Pilkington, Stewart, Gorre, Vaesen, Thornley mark 1, off the top of my head. Granted it’s not exactly Champions League stuff but given we have spent the majority of the last 25 years averaging around 40th position in the pyramid, it’s not too shabby.

His corner for our opening goal last Saturday, he still occasionally beats players and gets crosses in. He's clearly not firing on all cylinders this season so far but to say he's on the JK path is nonsense. If JK took a corner it would either go straight out for a deadball or a throw in, when he tries and takes a man on he just kicks it out for a deadball (every time), when he tries to cut inside to fire a shot off the other side just take the ball off him with ease.
