It would be ridiculous to let him go.
Championship squads need strength in depth. He’s a top end championship player.

Let’s let Koroma go then? He’s been bang average for 90% of us Town career.
New managers can turn players.
Warnock even said in one of his first interviews he couldn’t believe we let him go.

Koroma - Sorba - Hungbo
Let's keep all three - get all of them firing and that's a top-end trio supporting a striker.

Blackburn fans aren’t pining for him back from a brief scan on Twitter, inconsistent, lazy, half arsed a few buzzwords I’ve spotted.

Blackburn definitely wont be signing him their manager openly said they will be in the loans and free transfer market this summer . Only chance was if they had been promoted.

Koroma - Sorba - Hungbo Let's keep all three - get all of them firing and that's a top-end trio supporting a striker. In this order because hungbo is young, and eager with huge potential. Koroma fired up gets in any champs squad and 80% of first teams. Thomas needs a change Hungbo Koroma Thomas

New start New manager New Sorba (+ his excellent assist record)
Warnock would have worked wonders with him IMHO.

New start New manager New Sorba (+ his excellent assist record) Warnock would have worked wonders with him IMHO. We have to disagee. Warnock might well have persisted with him but its arguable wether the work rate required would have been met. Koroma certainly met the required work rate required and played his game really well when he was able to. Hungbo covered the ground when he played and scored a couple of goals. Question is, under Neil was Sorba missed?? Im all for giving him the opportunity to rejoin the first team squad and see how much the next man in can get from him, but its as much his attitude than anything else.

He has been a professional footballer for what, 3 years? Yet he talks about losing his love for the game and Blackburn gave him it back.
The lad needs to get a grip. I'm sure he loves it even on the worst days far more than sticking scaffolding up like he was doing not so long back.

He might be top of the assists but his goal scoring record of 3 in nearly 100 games for us and Blackburn is piss poor for a winger.

I'm not sure you can question Sorba's work rate, he always puts the effort in. He tracked back OK defensively, but then didn't necessarily do the right thing (or even anything) when he was there. That may be down to a lack of experience. I doubt he was required to do much defensively at Boreham Wood where he was their attacking threat. You could question the development of going to ground (or diving) and then staying down leaving us short, when there was clearly nothing wrong with him.

Confused me too, managed to fall out of love with football in the space of a couple of months? Sure he was still in love with football up until May at least! Basically when the going gets tough he loses interest then? Not the kind of attitude we need to be honest.

Do Mark Fotheringham's family work in scaffolding? Strange that he never mentioned it. Or maybe he did. I might have drifted off. Perhaps if he'd prefaced everything he said with "Guys, Listen", he might have got his point across. Ultimately, I think what did for Mark Fotheringham was a lack of breadth of experience. Maybe he could broaden his horizons by trying his hand at coaching in a different country. If only he'd worked in Germany. Perhaps under someone like that guy who was shit at Fulham.

But, with assists and goals contributed as many as defender Matty Pearson did in fewer games, one more than Koroma managed in fewer games, just two more than Hungbo who would surely have scored or assisted at least two had he played the extra 11 games that Thomas played? Danny Wards overall outcome looks half decent - as does Rudoni's after a big struggle of getting to grips with things. I think the more telling stat is that in the last 27 games (about 25 of which were after he was named in the World Cup squad), Thomas has managed just two assists, thats nowhere near enough given that thats pretty much all he brings to the pitch. Probably needs a proper break and rest, and a good pre season under a manager who is hopefully going to be given a squad capable of playing more aggressive front foot football than we've had to watch for the last 10 years or so.

He's young and naive and making stupid decisions. But he could be a hell of a talent if the right coach gives his head a shake. I think Warnock would've got a tune out of him.

A few of the senior pros grew fed up of him, Lees gave him a scolding/lesson in training not long before he was shipped out.
He needs a major attitude reset if he’s to succeed.
