Possibly needs a bit of a wake up call, from non league to the world cup probably went to his head a little, then finding himself from top of the champ to the bottom and being shouted at by a 36 year old nobody. I'd be happy to have him back next season if we manage to stay up, his experience at Blackburn and being dropped will probably stand him in good stead along with a pre-season rest and fresh start with a new manager. If we get relegated I guess we'll be looking to cash in, there'd be plenty of takers but we'd likely have to accept a modest fee. Same goes for Helik and a few others. He has to improve his special skills and his all round game, plus his attitude. The chances of all our stars aligning again and his particular talent being as important again on its own, is slight. Football today, everybody works. I watch Harland and he makes run after run where he never gets the ball. He is chasing defenders like never before and often goes long periods without touching the ball. He is a better modern player now as well as being an old style goal scorer. Thomas can be a player, a modern player but he needs to work at it.

I watched Blackburn v Luton the other day. Thomas put the corner in for the goal. Other than that he did nothing worth noting. Some will say that’s all he needed to do. It’s an assist. I disagree. You have to have a bit more about your game. He seems a little lost at the moment. He may be fighting personal issues, who knows. He probably needs the right manager to get a tune out of him. Will be a shame if his apparent attitude sees him fall by the wayside as he does have talent.

I think he’s going to be a big player for us. There’s no point selling him now, we won’t get owt.
Going to Blackburn and losing his place is good news for us. Think he was blaming us for his poorer season and he would be playing higher. Well he’s tried a little bit higher and can’t get a game. Back to earth with a bump.
Come back, work hard, earn whatever it is he thinks he deserves.

Blackburn not going up (most likley) Town staying up probably means Sorba is coming back. I think the ball is entirely in his court to make a fresh start.

There's a lot to be said about character over ability especially when it comes to a dressing room as a whole.
One thing that has really impressed me with Hungbo, despite not playing that much and struggling in some games, is that he's always looked happy to be here. Constantly smiling, making others laugh on those gym training videos, on the pitch after matches buzzing when he could have had monk on for not playing. He looked as happy as anyone for Warnock last night.
Contrast that with the stories about Thomas and I know which one I would rather be here next season

I wonder what was going through his mind last night. He’s a man on the outside for both his teams at the moment.

Dont need any bad eggs and he isnt anywhere near good enough to make up for it.
Id see what we can get for him and move on. If we use the money to pay Koroma's wages for the next 3 years and he maintains anything like the form hes shown these last couple of months, then that will be great business.

Can’t make my mind up as to if my view of him as somebody who didn’t have the heart or fight for a relegation battle is down to him or how he was managed.
I suspect the former based on the Blackburn Managers comments.
If we can get half decent money for him to use on such as Hungbo or whoever. Be fine for him to move on.
If he returns and gets stuck in, no issue with that either. No room though for any sulky Players.

His attitude seemed fine when he started getting games. He knew just what a huge step up it was for him when at one time he thought he wouldn’t play professionally.
This season, for many reasons I think, seems to have turned his head. He may need being sold and having to prove himself again to get him back to the player who so impressed us here last season.
Only time will tell.

Sell him and get whatever we can for him. Even if it’s less than a million.
1) clearly wanted nothing to do with a relationship scrap.
2) other than set piece what does he do? Has anyone ever seen him beat his full back?
3) theres obviously an underlying attitude issue as now even Blackburn manager is all but saying he’s not putting it in in training.
4) NW has brought a cohesion to that squad now. I think he risks breaking it.
5) Did anyone see any social media congratulating us staying up from Sorba? No me neither. Full on weird that.

Sorba for me is a bit of a funny onion. Did someone say he worked in a sports shop? Then obviously got his big move, got his international status, forgot his roots, got his Billy big bollocks head on. If he can sort his attitude, get back to form he has the potential to have a good career. At the minute he will be going back to sorting people out with their size 9s if he doesn't knuckle down.

Why do shoe manufacturers seem to make too many big and small sizes and not enough size 9s and 10s?
Come on Sorba, answer me that one eh.
When they're selling off the cheap stock, try find a pair of size 9s or 10s.

So many folk happy to get rid.
Seems that he fell out with us due to poor management and ridiculous abuse from some of our fans.
Neil would think that the problems could be solved, in fact he would make it his mission to mend the situation.
We shouldn't be giving in so easily, terrier spirit and all that.

When they're selling off the cheap stock, try find a pair of size 9s or 10s. One of life’s great mysteries that. I was that desperate for a bargain at a Mitre Sports warehouse sale (Birkby) when I was a kid, I bought a pair of boots about 2 sizes too big, but was determined to have them as they were far better than any boots I’d ever had. First time I played in them the opposition full back must have thought he was facing Charlie Cairoli on the left wing…

My mate's dad was Managing Director at Mitre in the late 80s. They had a massive brand new house up by the Cliff in Wooldale, moved up from Essex. His mum talked like Sybil Fawlty. A couple of times, we used to get paid in Mitre gear for kicking fuck out of a Mitre football against a brick wall for 3 hours. Visited the factory too. 80s R+D

Not even on the bench for BR at Miwaw. Safe to assume they won’t be putting a bid in for him.

Been substituted for the second half tbf. Will be interesting to see if that makes much difference - Millwall winning 3-1 with little possession.
