Its hard to understand their logic, they will have a lot if players to shift if relegated, will probably never have a settled team, could turn into a disaster for them. oh dear what a shame!!!.

Think a lot of Forest fans will get a nasty shock ... if they are relegated.
They seem pretty cool and relaxed about the money they've spent so far and keep quoting £180 million - £200 million for winning promotion, as well as parachute payments.
I'm pretty sure that the promotion figure (£180 million-ish) is inclusive of parachute payments. Am I wrong ?
It does seem like quite a big gamble this and I'm not convinced that their owner is going to be willing or able to afford to make up the lost revenue if they drop back to the championship. They have a talented squad of players but that alot of personalities and egos to keep happy. I think this could be one of their major issues and prove to be Forest's downfall.
Steve Cooper is a very good manager but with all that money spent and promises the owners made, I can see him being sacked pretty quickly unless theres a big change to the teams form, could be as soon as next Monday night.

It is inclusive of the parachute payments and is also supposed to be used for paying the wages of the players as well. It's the same (but obviously smaller) as the yearly payment we receive as part of the TV deal for the EFL/Championship, it's not a one-off payment for winning promotion on top the TV revenue.

They have the potential to be an absolute basket case in 12 months time. Which will be nice. You reds!

What’s the bet they sack the manager that chews wasps and is replaced Tuchel. Money talks

Looking forward to them circumventing FFP by 'selling' players to Olympiakos for ridiculous prices to count as income. A dodgy shirt sponsorship deal is presumably lurking too.

I don't suppose that they have bothered with any relegation clauses in the new contracts.

What are the ages of their recruits? They are only allowed a maximum squad size of 25 (plus under 21s). If there are signings above that age presumably they will know whether or not they are likely to be squad members or not... It does look a lot like a kid in a sweet shop though. I can't get my head around it - maybe they are hoping to loan a lot of them out or something. Two of them - Josh Bowler and someone else - were signed and promptly shipped straight out to Olympiakos, so that keeps down, ever so slightly, the ones wanting a squad number.

More pressure to stay up then.

It's only 5 years since they averaged 19k Read 2 to 3 years ago that Crystal Palace were planning to redevelop their main stand, estimated costs between £75 to £100 million, an eye watering amount of money! Florists redevelopment of their main stand, understand would increase their capacity from 29,000 to 35,000, the cost could be as much as £50 million, relegation would further doom them, whose paying for the proposed work + the cost of off loading all the well players, they've recently signed, bring it on - UTT.

Leeds are supposed to be off up to 50k at some point. Pointless, they'll be back to mid 20's if they get relegated and don't go straight back up. It's all just dick waving.

The application has been approved and would, if fully carried out, make a max capacity of 38K at an estimated minimum of 94 million quid. It will turn out to be more the way builders work. www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-nottinghamshire-62338821

Hope not, let em get on with it, could be an amazing development, I'm reminded of a little ditty from MASH -"Through the early morning fog I see, Visions of things to be, The pains that are without for me, I realise and I can see. (2nd verse) That suicide is painless, It brings on many changes, And I can take or leave it, as I please." bring it on, love it - UTT.

I can't find any stats on 4 points from 6 games. Obviously they are in the wind with 0.66 points per game instead of 0.99 or 1 point per game which is needed to stay up, having only played 2 of the top 6.
I think they're fucked unless the bring a really good tactician in (whats that guys name at Olimpiacos), but if anyone had more detail on whether anyone has ever stayed up from their position it might make for even more of a laugh 😆

On the assumption that they could still play their game v Leeds, given it's a Monday k/o, imagine what another defeat would do for their confidence, especially as it's a game in hand for all the other teams...
Sky will be desperate for this one to go ahead when everyone is going cold turkey after the weekend...

That's £18,800 per seat. I hope they're padded.
