If we stay up and them and Leeds come down, that would be some end to the season - and make for some decent games next year ✅👏😂

I wonder if their fans have had a wake-up call after all this?
It's like they were on some bizarre power trip for an entire season and completely lost their minds about what their club actually is. Never seen it so clearly amongst a fanbase before across such a short space of time.
Have they always been like that?

Notts Forest - the team I most want to be relegated - not bothered which other 2 come too

Some of the replies....🤣🤣🤣 Clearly they all stopped being behind them before last seasons revival. Been away there a few times, and aside from last season, half the stadium was empty.

You might have heard about it. I swear almost every midlands club are absolute tossers who think they are massive. These are just tossers with European cups that most of them don't remember, from when anyone could win it. As relevant to modern football as our achievements.

Form book is out of the window on the run in, United are beatable having conceaded 40 odd goals, but apart from that even if the get a point of Brighton or Brentford and beat Chelsea they'll be on 36 points, with all other teams on a point a game I think it'll go to the just day.
I would laugh my tits off if they come down £200m in debt. Even if they stay up they really shouldn't buy anyone next year to balance the books.

City, Liverpool, Brighton and Brentford. United have beaten forest 3 times comfortably already.

I think Forest fans and especially their owners and other higher ups, are not handling the possibility of going down well at all. A lot of their fans may not admit it to you, but with all the money they spent, they arrogantly were under the thinking that they would stay up with ease. Buying that many damn guys was never going to work, too many differing talent levels for one. And for two, no way for any kind of cohesion to really come to fruition. The arrogance of their owner and their fans has not done a damn thing and I am loving every second of it. They deserve to be in the Prem though right because they are such a huge club? Half of them thought they were going to challenge for the top 4 Thoughts of the deranged.

Half of them thought they were going to challenge for the top 4 Thoughts of the deranged. I had a quick look on their forum this morning for the first time this season - Seriously couldn’t believe what I was reading - apparently they now believe they’ve over achieved just to be where they are as they have far the cheapest squad in the premier league ….and that wasn’t by any means just the one individual either!!!

They were well and truly taking the piss on forums after the final, Oh what have we done to that club, We've took there best two players, managers left and they're struggling, Well as the old saying goes "He who laughs last, Laughs longest" And should we stay up and they do as I suspected all along get relegated, They are in deep shit, Let the uncontrollable belly laughs begin. If they do come down and we do stay up. The 2 games against them next season will be an electric atmosphere. Theyll certainly be getting a warm welcome here if we are in the same division next season.

If they were to survive, do you think they would adjust their expectations for 23/24?
Imagine if they were to be relegated, and Derby win the L1 play offs, it would be quite funny observing the shenanigans in the E Mids.

4 games out of the 8 remaining, Manu u, Liverpool, Chelsea, and Arsenal, hope they all smash em to send them down. Now that would be hilarious Arsenal 2nd from last game, Arsenal to win title at Forest's ground to send Forest down. How are the Forest supporters going to cope with that. Think the majority would believe the fireworks and premiership trophy were for them.

As for Forest thinking of Europe. When Leeds went up three years ago my Leeds supporting mate said anything less than top 6 would be a disaster.😁😁 If wasn't for Brentford being on the beach for the last game last season, they would have gone down.

Even though it was ourselves that lost out to them last May, I don’t think this thread will be unique amongst a few EFL forums.
If they do get relegated, I’d suspect quite a few will want to be rubbing their noses in it…

Whoever the manager is next season, if we do play Forest, team tall will be easy. Just have a reel of all the videos etc of the balcony, Joe Lolley, their fans etc.

I will be thoroughly delighted if Forest go down. As you may have realised, I live in Berlin. I wasn’t able to make it back home for the playoff final, so I gathered a group of my friends and we went to an Irish bar to watch. There were a small group of Forest fans and after the game, even though I was both gutted and frustrated (about the penalty decisions), I went over to congratulate them. Instead of shaking my hand and having a chat about next season, they started singing “staying down, staying down…” and told me that it was good for football that Hudds wouldn’t go up because they’re a nothing club that has never won anything. I left by telling them that they shouldn’t expect to win every week, but that the promotion would fundamentally change the nature of the club (like it did with ours). They however got the last word in, and one of them said that Forest would shag our club for the next 50 years. Probably not true, and also didn’t really make sense, but I had lost interest by that point.
My mates quickly whisked me off to a much nicer bar to sup some lovely local craft beers and we toasted many times to the impending relegation and demise of Nottingham Forest. (I really hope that they sack Cooper, because he is just about the only good thing they’ve got going)!

They won't be able to afford half of them and they will down tools and either move on, or have an half arsed attitude and collect their pay check. I really cannot see Navas, Danilo, Freuler, Aurier and Mangala playing in the Championship. They will move on, or take a pay check with half hearted performances.
