Indeed, but if they keep that squad together Forest will piss the championship next season. Hope we're all ready for more gloating....unless of course our new owner builds a better squad.... Will they bollocks. They won't be able to afford half of them and they will down tools and either move on, or have an half arsed attitude and collect their pay check. I really cannot see Navas, Danilo, Freuler, Aurier and Mangala playing in the Championship. They will move on, or take a pay check with half hearted performances. I did say "if"......................

I will be thoroughly delighted if Forest go down. As you may have realised, I live in Berlin. I wasn’t able to make it back home for the playoff final, so I gathered a group of my friends and we went to an Irish bar to watch. There were a small group of Forest fans and after the game, even though I was both gutted and frustrated (about the penalty decisions), I went over to congratulate them. Instead of shaking my hand and having a chat about next season, they started singing “staying down, staying down…” and told me that it was good for football that Hudds wouldn’t go up because they’re a nothing club that has never won anything. I left by telling them that they shouldn’t expect to win every week, but that the promotion would fundamentally change the nature of the club (like it did with ours). They however got the last word in, and one of them said that Forest would shag our club for the next 50 years. Probably not true, and also didn’t really make sense, but I had lost interest by that point. My mates quickly whisked me off to a much nicer bar to sup some lovely local craft beers and we toasted many times to the impending relegation and demise of Nottingham Forest. (I really hope that they sack Cooper, because he is just about the only good thing they’ve got going)! Cooper is a complete arsehole, they deserve each other, don't care whether he stays or goes, relegation beckons for them & the Fat Greek bar steward - UTT.

Similar experience in a hotel bar pre game at Wembley..
Pissed up 20 something lad came over to me..
We’ve bought all your tickets..he said..
So I had what you on about..
He said your crap club couldn’t sell your tickets so reds fans bought em all..
At this point one of my mates was about to drop the kooont but I ushered the lad away before he got hurt..
Strange set of deluded arseholes..
There’s gonna be a party in Huddersfield when those kooonts go down..
🤞🤞

They wound up quite a few last year, will be plenty of schadenfreude if they come back down. Indeed, but if they keep that squad together Forest will piss the championship next season. Hope we're all ready for more gloating....unless of course our new owner builds a better squad.... If they keep squad for next year they’ll also lose about £80m in a year. Seem to recall Newcastle losing about £100m the season they were out of the Prem. Ashley had the pockets but does Marinakis?

It's the unwarranted nastiness and aggression that I can't stand. Our group - an elderly man, myself and my sister - were walking through St Pancras on the morning of the game and a group of Forest fans just came up to us and screamed 'dirty Yorkshire bastards' in our faces. Never seen them before, never seen them again. It seems to be a running theme.
Until last season I had nothing against Forest. Now I want them to fail miserably because of the way their fans behaved. Arrogant, classless, needlessly aggressive. I compare with Southampton and the run in 2011, when they went and won 10 in a row to pip us to automatic promotion. There was none of this from them (perhaps because we didn't play them in that run, but there was still plenty going on online - but normal banter aside there was mutual respect and none of this billy big bollocks stuff). I've hoped Southampton have done all right since; they showed a bit of class when they pipped us to the post.

I had a quick look on their forum this morning for the first time this season - Seriously couldn’t believe what I was reading - apparently they now believe they’ve over achieved just to be where they are as they have far the cheapest squad in the premier league ….and that wasn’t by any means just the one individual either!!! How did they, as a fanbase, go under the deluded radar for so long? Because they were shit and irrelevant so nobody paid them any attention

A few years ago I was dating a lass from Sutton-in-Ashfield, and we were getting the train back from Nottingham one Saturday. Forest had been at home to Rotherham, so of course there were fans from both on the train. I sat opposite a family of Rotherham fans with young kids aged about 7 to 9... then a bunch of Forest got on, and as they walked past they got right in the faces of the Rotherham mum and dad, started screaming "You're just a town full of paedos" at them. Absolute bunch of cards. I hope they go bust twice.

Probably because he's Forest's manager. I'd take him here every day of the week. He's a decent manager.

Would have Cooper here any time. Has achieved with England youth set ups. Was fantastic at Swansea and what he did at Forest last season was incredible (pains me to say that). Feel the people above him have ruined his plans, spending all this money on over 20 players. Personally, I don't think he would have wanted that. If they go down, I bet he will leave.

Yeah, ability as a head coach/manager isn't really in question IMO. It was the arsehole comment that surprised me. Stevenage's head coach is doing a better job than Doncaster's but if you asked me which was the arsehole and which the decent bloke....

A bit like Potter. Neither have been helped in their job by the 'Trolley dash' style additions to their squads.

They've just sacked their sporting director who's only been there since October.
Nice way of saying to their January signings 'we think you're shit'

Nice way of saying to their January signings 'we think you're shit' Presume they sacked the one that got all the summer transfers in back in October then? If so, proves that sometimes, just let the manager get how many and who he wants. Personally, that should be how it is anyway.

If they keep squad for next year they’ll also lose about £80m in a year. Seem to recall Newcastle losing about £100m the season they were out of the Prem. Ashley had the pockets but does Marinakis? Marinakis has very deep pockets, but he seems to spend most of what's in them on pork pies...

OK... consider the fact their are too many individuals eg. Lingard. Hell of a lot of new signing. Players he probably doesn't want or fit into his way of playing. Cooper is probably one of the hottest managers around. He is just at a club that think they are bigger than what they are.

I would 100% rather Leeds stay up than Notts Forest. The worst fans I’ve ever come across.
let’s see how they get round FFP if they go down. Going to cost them millions.
Come on Karma…..
