The hypocrisy is astounding... hope it's a contentious VAR call that finally seals their fate. I fail to see your beef. It's not as if the fans had any influence over the Wembley fiasco. They may well have benefitted from mistakes made by others and (some fans)subsequently acted reprehensibly, but that has no bearing at all upon their fans (along with those of most PL clubs bemoaning a VAR decision going against them. or am I being prematurely mature in dealing with what happened at Wembley? I think it’s the gloating after the match and players and fans singing/mocking about VAR that wound so many up. Rubbing our faces in it rather than showing a bit of class. |

I can’t let what happened at Wembley go. I almost need them to go down as some kind of therapy. Maybe then I can move on but only if we stay up.
I usually pay zero attention to opposition fans. I don’t go in for the goading or the scrapping but their fans at Wembley were largely acting like tools before, during and certainly after the match.

They had no problem with VAR working in their favour last May, but they're very quick to complain when it goes against them. I haven't seen it but I really hope that Brentford winner was marginally offside. I was watching on IPTV. The bloke who scored was many yards onside but there was a Brentford player between him and the 'keeper, obstructing his view. Looked OK until they showed a replay, then I was convinced they were going to chalk it off as the 'offside' line appeared to clearly show part of him in front of the defender.
Then you could hear a voice whisper, "Bob - I'm not sure this VAR offside line is working properly, can you give me hand?". There was a brief pause and then the line appeared to move slightly and the 'Onside' indicator lit up. "Cheers, Bob, that's fixed it."

I like that theyve put that deadline on it and said it must include any appeal..suggests any points deduction they get will be imposed this season. They should have hired Jon Moss as their QC..hed have got it sorted for them. |
