He permanently looks like he fell asleep playing the mouth guard challenge and the wind changed, but by all accounts he's a genuinely decent chap. One of football's good guys. Forest are an ugly club with a reputation for beautiful football. Their manager may be the yin to their yang. I like Cooper Its the rest of them I can't do with. Plus the ridiculous media hype around a club that were only good for about 4 years in their entire history.

Didn’t we have 10+ points at this stage when we went up? If he gets them to gel before Xmas then I’m sure they will stay up but right now they are looking like having a miserable season. Which sort of makes me snort and chuckle, mainly because of their arrogance and the fact we were robbed. However, I’d expect we would be in the same position had we gone up. We had more points than them at the same stage but that doesn't fit with their narrative so the Forest fans on twitter are comparing our 2nd season to this one. Suppose they both ultimately end up with relegation.... Then they thicker than I gave them credit for. Everyone knows that momentum and no one really knows much about you in your first season can give you a good few points on the board early doors, it’s always the second season that is much, much harder, if you get one of course.

Cannot really understand why they have signed all these players (21 is it) but are yet to sign a referee or VAR video assistant. I guess now they are in the bottom 3 they will move forward on this front soon.

I've disliked Nottingham Forest for much longer than most on this board.... ....but did they ever sing that to us? Never heard it PS However, one sad fucking deluded c*** memorably said it to me on 16th May 2003, the day after Forest lost to Sheffield United in the 2nd division play offs after being two goals in front whilst meanwhile we were in Admin and facing division 4. We've played 23 league (or play off) games since then & I'm sure we'll play them many more times. Being arrogant & deluded is nothing new, trust me. A fairly large group of them sang it to us as we were waiting for our train after the game. I'd assumed we weren't alone in receiving that little serenade. TBH I couldn't get on board with the animosity towards them until we arrived in London. I only know one Forest fan personally and he's a really sound bloke, plus I had a soft spot for them thanks to the Clough era. Every side has its bell ends, but they seemed to have more than their fair share on the day, some before the game and a lot after. Social media seems to back that up. I don't mind sore losers as they tend to be quite funny, but graceless winners are every bit as pathetic, minus the charm of being amusing. Their fans, almost to a man/woman/child, were rank that day, in my experience anyway.

Even the dead cockroach lot have some decent fans but that lot that day were unforgivable.

Picking on kids and women on the train I was on. I had no massive issue with them before but now I hope their club ends up folding, purely because of their shit fans.

Theyll go down this season. Wasnt it Fulham a few years back that assembled a completely new squad from the promotion one and they finished bottom. One of the few things some newly promoted sides have is momentum and team spirit even if they lack quality. Financially they will be stuffed. I look forward to it. When Town went up we still had the backbone of players from the promotion season. That early momentum and good start was what eventually saw us survive. Believe me it will get harder for Forest after Christmas if they are struggling. Oh well.. How much did we spend up to the end of the first transfer window ? Mooy, Kach, Lolo, Big Steve, Flo, Danny Williams, Zanka and Lossl. £40m ish 🤔. They replaced Ward, Hef, Nakhi and gave competition to Tommy Smith so we kept the spirit of the promotion team. The Florists best players from last season all went back to their parent clubs.

After the game at Kings Cross, we got on the train and I don’t think I’ve ever experienced the level of abuse and evil comments that Town fans received. When they announced that there was an extra train available going direct to Wakefield it was a pleasure to get off that train.

He permanently looks like he fell asleep playing the mouth guard challenge and the wind changed, but by all accounts he's a genuinely decent chap. One of football's good guys. Forest are an ugly club with a reputation for beautiful football. Their manager may be the yin to their yang. I always think he was just at the end of the vinegar strokes when the wind changed

My experience was that the atmosphere before and after the game vs Reading was jovial, friendly and mutual respect - and I expect it would have been had we lost as well. I recall one Reading fan that looked a bit like Hef, he took the chants in good sport, even if he was a bit confused by it all.

Me, my son and my mate all sat drinking with a group of Reading fans in a pub next to Marylebone station before the game. Shook hands and went our separate ways and headed to Wembley. Compare and contrast to those twats this year.

Quite amazing how a team 99%! of us felt nothing about a few months ago, are now talked about in the same breath as Beeston and The Massive..
I was called a “ Sheep Shagger “ by a Forest fan on social media, how Ironic he lives in Derbyshire..
Steve Cooper may need a little time to work out his best formation from 21 signings, yet we know that many owners are quick to give them the sack.. We shall see soon enough

Where I live is split between Derby and Forest - probably more Derby than Forest, but the arrogant red t***s have come out of the woodwork over the last 3 months or so.
More than once this summer, we've been out for a walk, t'other half wearing a Derby shirt, when he's faced abuse from passengers in cars driving past.
Horrible, horrible fans.

Soon as the final whistle sounded we shot off because I guessed there'd be a lot of that shit going on and I couldn't stomach it. Back in High Wycombe that night there was a good mix of Town and forest and no bother at all. Just decent chat about the game, so I wouldn't tar them all with the same brush. Does sound like they have more than their fair share of bellends though. In their list of fixtures, Bournemouth at home will have been a 'must win' . 2 nil up at half time .. VAR once again on their side.. and they still cock it up and lose 2-3 !

Am I right in thinking they haven't sorted their defence out yet and have played only 2 of the top six?
