Looking like no new signings on show for this. Our Rookie Coach still in charge. And Blackpool sell one of their star players. Am I confident of a win ... No

A win would take off a lot of pressure from DS shoulders but I just can't see it I like Blackpool, along with Rotherham, two northern clubs punching above their weight.

Mobile, good on the ball and always wanting to be involved. Considering how poor Russel has performed, I don't think this is a risk.

Can Mbete play on Sunday? No,he's got concussion. Could go either way this one, hoping for a Town win.

Can Mbete play on Sunday? The thing is Curtis of Huddershire. We both know that if he can play, what Town will do is ‘get him up to speed’ for the next 20 weeks by which point we will be 51 points cut adrift, bring him on off the bench where he will look like a worldie then the Hoyle lovers can come on here and tell us to trust the process.

I will bet anyone a pound to a penny that Russel is in the team on Sunday. There is definitely some kind of agenda at Town with certain players. If it is not true that Hoyle and Bromby are picking the team it certainly looks that way. I know it sounds daft now to look at his form but Russel may have been interesting other clubs at the end of the season and Hoyle wants to cash in. He can't if Russel is not in the team. If this type of thing is going on as Hoyle looks to asset strip and get his money then it shows how clueless he is on football. The most efficient way to increase value of players would have been to back Carlos to the hilt and watch Town kick on from last year's heady heights. Then the entire squad would have become more attractive to other teams willing to pay money for them.

When all fit I’d go 4231:
Nicholls
KKH Mbete Helik Nakayama
Hogg Kasumu
Thomas Rudoni Anjorin
Ward
Subs: Rhodes, Holmes, Jones, Lees, Turton, Ruffels etc
Or alternative option:
Nicholls
Mbete Lees Helik
KKH Hogg Rudoni Nakayama
Thomas Anjorin Ward

Is nakayama a left back? The way he plays he strikes me a left sided centre back and if he does go left, is he be Any good as a wing back?
The reason I'm asking is he seems like a good fit for the left of a back three in the 343 formation
The two CB's signed on deadline day suggest Nakayama will be put in the LB/LWB which I don't think we've seen from him yet.

He plays left back for Japan and will most likely play that position at the World Cup if selected. Japan play a very high energy style where the full-backs, although not out-and-out wingbacks, get forward a lot. They have other very highly-rated young left-backs as well as the veteran Nagatomo who was class, but the feeling is that Yuta is the best of the lot. I like him as a left sided center back, but with Helik and Mbete coming in moving him to left-back seems like the obvious thing to do. I'd see him as a Chris Lowe type LB, solid defensively, good technically, and able to get up and down the pitch. Has been caught out by the pace of the Championship a couple of times so far, thinking he has more time than he actually has, but he'll learn. Has bags of ability.

If Town need someone to do some scouting and can't afford the airfares, I'm always up for a career change!

Schofield on mbete and helik "We'll look at Michal and Luke in training - they're both fit and they'll both train" Can't see either starting on Sunday in a back 4, unless they've already been with the club as there's only 2 sessions before the game. You could maybe put one into a back 3 and the other on the bench.
