Can anybody give me some examples of when promoting an assistant to the top job of the same club has worked out well? Blackpool did it with Grayson.

Seriously that cannot be defended. Playing players out of position. No threat going forward nothing going forward actually.
Does he just tell them ‘go out there and…. Erm I don’t know boys. Whatever you did last season but I’ll swap your positions and yeah sound, enjoy lads’

Did goal line tech fail? Looked well over the line Aye, it's failed before. Players blocking camera view etc. Looked well over to me too but my eyes aren't young anymore and I was watching a stream on a computer screen. Consensus seems to be it was over.

Did Dougall put ice cubes in the officials’ half-time orange juice?! Can’t believe that wasn’t a goal. Rudoni class again. Jones looked very lively. Thomas better than he has been recently. Other than that, not many positives to take from that.

Given that he's started half the side in unnatural positions... I'd say Schofield hasn't got much of a clue. Exactly. Turton, a RB playing LCB put pressure on us everytime he was given the ball, not his fault and he wasn't the worst player either. Clueless.

The performance was not bad. The non-goal drained the confidence out of us. Rudoni and Jones can play... Russell did well after the first 10 minutes. I'm guessing plenty of fans not talking to the wife tonight and shouting at the kids, but the last two performances have been much better than all that's gone before...weirdly.
Confidence is OK, but will drain away if we don't get a win. Schofield not to blame today, but he's not the man to inspire players.

That was crap, should have been 1-1 though with the controversial decision. Anyone would thinks that the ref's union does not like us!

Did goal line tech fail? Looked well over the line I'm guessing that it looks at objects that have crossed the line... there was that much happening on the line that Hawkeye failed.

Sorry but it’s a results business. The Hawkeye failing is just giving us an excuse for what was an abject performance. Blackpool are poor. We’re just worse. There’s a team in there somewhere but Danny has shown he isn’t the person to get the best out of them.

I really dont say this lightly, but DS is the worst manager/head coach we have ever had. We 100% need to prepare for League 1. Barnsley MK2. If DS had any decency he would admit he doesnt have the first idea what he is doing. Hoyle is clearly enjoying watching this week in week out, cus I cant think of any other reason why he hasnt been sacked yet. How, in a league as competitive as the Championship, can you not even provide a competent manager. I would have a slight bit of sympathy if he could get the basics right, but I dont think I have ever seen a team, Huddersfield or neutral, where the manager literally cant even set the team up properly.
Credit to anyone who is watching this and taking their time to go down to the ground at the minute. Players dont know what they are doing, slow, turgid football with occasional hacks up field, no gameplan that I can see, defensive shambles (although I think a lot is down to the tactics and instructions they are being given), players look knackered by about 60 minutes and can barely chase down. DS, for goodness sake man, have some self respect and tell Hoyle you are out of your depth, and hope he puts you back on the coaching rota. Shambles.

It's so obvious what would happen when he gave Schofield the job and didn't adequately reinvest. Although I didn't think we would be as dire a situation as this. Will Hoyle act now or will his ego prevail? It would be nice to hear from him either way. July 26th was his last communication.

There's some quality on this team. It just isn't cohesive. Maybe the thought was Kasumu could tie that midfield together but his injury record shows the folly in that thought. Refs/technology and individual errors hurt us today but even with them I think we should have gotten all 3 points. Blackpool offered nothing. A change of direction is needed and quickly. Staggering to think that it seems that Carlos left due to lack of spend and then we likely ended up spending more than he asked for when the cracks started to show. There's questions to be answered about the managerial position and those above him.

The thing is..after a decent window this squad is capable of a top half finish. But we have a conference manager and it’s not his fault that Dean threw him in because he’s tight fisted. I hope he walks for his own sake

We don't look to be getting any better. There's no green shoots of recovery, or improvement.
I appreciate the squad wasn't improved on when our two best players went but its shown that some form of tune can be gotten out of the ones that's still here.
I like Danny, but something needs to change. I know he's been given a shit hand, in regards to him being given the job but we're in trouble here and he looking like he might be out of his depth

Nothing is going our way this year. Another basic defensive individual mistake for their goal, and denied a goal so so clearly over the line.
Sorba easily our best player 1st half destroying their right back and we switch his flank. 1 down with 10 to go, not creating anything, and we go like for like change up front.
The 30m radius empty circle in midfield needs sorting. We have nothing in there. With no LOB it's way too pedestrian.

The club is totten to the core it’s been like this for a few years but Carlos got the best alit of the players and them at masked an on going pantomime behind the scenes ...
Hoyle stepping back yet retaining 25% of shares and the training facility , his mate Phil and his company Pure buying the controlling 75% shares with club money an unfit owner if there ever had been one . Arse licking cronies like Bromby Worthington and Schofield on top coaching positions this evening started in the DW era. To tho season the inevitable loss of our best players then the debacle of the coach who got the team into a playoff final against all the odds leaving with the cheap option of the promotion of good guy Danny to the manager/coach
