Don’t let the non given goal paper over the cracks, we’re garbage and nobody can defend that! Decision time “Sir” Dean!!

The club is totten to the core it’s been like this for a few years but Carlos got the best alit of the players and them at masked an on going pantomime behind the scenes ... Hoyle stepping back yet retaining 25% of shares and the training facility , his mate Phil and his company Pure buying the controlling 75% shares with club money an unfit owner if there ever had been one . Arse licking cronies like Bromby Worthington and Schofield on top coaching positions this evening started in the DW era. To tho season the inevitable loss of our best players then the debacle of the coach who got the team into a playoff final against all the odds leaving with the cheap option of the promotion of good guy Danny to the manager/coach The Blackpool fans taunted us with 'Is this a Library'. They're wrong, it's a morgue. A squad with no real outfield talent. A manager with no experience. A chairman who lost interest years ago. Fans who are now beyond apathetic. To cap it all we get another awful game changing refereeing decision. The only questions are in which month we will get mathematically relegated and will our slide stop in league 1.

We have no luck with officials at all. Shouldn't be down to luck.

Radio Leeds are overplaying the dissalowed goal. That was quite possibly the worst performance at home in the last two years.Schofield may be able to hide behind the fact we should have had a point, however he cannot hide from his shambolic positional choices and an obviously poor show from the team in general. Those players are not poor players but by god they are playing poorly, lack of any real drive ( other than Jones when he came on) countless mistakes, an absence of the midfield time after time. I feel Schofield is out of his depth, and as for the notion he was ' thrown in at the deep end'/' thrown under a bus'. this is just drivel, he said YES when asked if he wanted the job, he could have said no, he didn't, and the consequences are now glaringly obvious. By the way, booing your team, regardless of how poor they are playing, can only result in even poorer morale. Never done it and I never will. T.T.I.D

His post match interview sounds a bit weird to me.. it’s almost like he knows he’s about to go? It's OK it will all have been a part of our plan.. been tracking somewhere for 2 years to replace schofield

He hasnt got any fight or passion in him still. I wouldnt have even bothered talking about the decision. I would have come out swinging. "Work hard and stick together". They are either unfit or they arent working hard for you Danny ffs. Imagine the interview after recent games with Sean Dyche or Neil Warnock. They would have locked the dressing room for an hour and stripped back the fucking paint off the walls.

8 games, 6 defeats. Now we can't score.
Lacklustre one the pitch, gaps in midfield,no one in their area apart from ward or Rhodes while other teams always seem to have 4 or 5 in ours.
It looks like players are going through the motions to me

Can anybody give me some examples of when promoting an assistant to the top job of the same club has worked out well? Blackpool did it with Grayson. Not hugely recent and more of an exception than the rule I'd say.

Can anybody give me some examples of when promoting an assistant to the top job of the same club has worked out well? Bob Paisley. But we ain’t got Shankley as the one to follow.... These examples are from a different era to the modern game. I'd argue that it doesn't work in recent decades. rugbyterrier

Not papering over the cracks on that one. The goal might have changed the game, we might even have gone on to win, but it would have been tough on Blackpool.
We’re shot. I don’t know what the answer is, but then again I’m not paid to provide the answer.

Sound like Mike Bassett but think we might have to go for basics 442 - ward and Rhodes in the box. Shit loads of crosses from Sorba (still great deliveries). Hogg and Rudoni as a midfield pairing. Jones on the other side. Back four of Turton, Helik lees and Mbete maybe as LB Tino and Yuta bloody awful today. Tino just lazy. Seen no evidence that Yuta can defend yet at all. For all the hype I’m totally underwhelmed

Can someone explain how goal line technology is supposed to work, I assume there is a microchip in the ball? But is there one in EVERY ball? Reason I ask is that the ref changed the ball during the game for some reason

Barnsley fc explained it to me when my lad was a flag bearer a few weeks ago. They had theirs taken out upon relegation Maybe we have pre planned this removal

Still baffled by the decision to play Turton almost as a left back - honestly have no clue how we are trying to play right now!

Definitely an incorrect decision by the officials, the goal should have stood, but it doesn't disguise the fact that we were terrible. We're already cut adrift in the relegation zone, Danny has to go now before it's too late. We were in the playoff final just over 3 months ago but look nothing like that team now. Very sad to see.

And if we still go down then fair enough. Mind boggling watching how we’re set up today.

Still baffled by the decision to play Turton almost as a left back - honestly have no clue how we are trying to play right now! Small midfield player as a centre back. A centre back at left wing back. Then Hogg is injured. Bring o a left back to play centre back. Leaving one centre back at left back. Plus an international centre back on the bench. But the defense isn't the worst of it. The midfield is Ruddoni trying to do everything by himself.

The positive today was we were much better at the back as a unit. The only 2 chances Blackpool has was the Kesler mistake for the goal and Nicholls passing them the ball 20 yards out. I can't remember them making anything else.
We struggled to create and Blackpool sat in. If that goal is given we may well have found it easier to get that winner as it would have forced them out. I'm still baffled why we'd take Sorba, our most dangerous player, from a position where he was all over them and switch him flanks and drop him back. Just odd.
