We desperately need maximum points. Come on lads knuckle down & give the crowd a much needed lift.

I put Town win at first. But then realised Dave wouldn't be back in time so changed it to a draw

We always struggle against Cardiff, think our only hope is to keep it tight and then unleash Tino on them. Unfortunately there hasn’t even been a glimpse of us being able to keep it tight in 9 games so far. Cardiff win very likely

Managers now gone and the players will want to play footy again.
Town 2-0 Cardiff. UTFT!

The performance is irrelevant, we just need 3 points. A defeat and the new manager is starting needing snookers.

1-2 Cardiff. Wagner announced at HT Wouldn't mind seeing Wagner v Warne v Carrick in a half time dizzy penalties duel for the job.

Chico comes across very well talking to the press ! If Chico gets us playing and winning then I'd be happy for us to take our time and give him another game or two but if we lose I'd like to see the new manager in place on Saturday night!!

As long as its an entertaining game of football, one that thrills the crowd with none of this 'hoofball' stuff then i dont really care about the score...i mean who wouldn't rather have 3-3 draw than a dour 1-0 win.

The players were putting the effort in before, they were just disjointed and didn’t really know what the plan was on the pitch.
Can’t see that changing so a Cardiff win is on the cards.

Let's hope the tactical side of the game is different, would take a draw to steady the ship and stop the losing mentality.

Well having just watched narcis,s press conference I have changed my vote to a Town win
Maybe he should have got the chance instead of DS...I like the way he comes across...mature,speaking his mind and not afraid

What a ridiculous post. It's not an either/or situation. It is possible to play entertaining football that is also effective and winning football. Likewise, dour football doesn't guarantee a 1-0 win.

When the new manager comes in he can worry about entertaining the crowd.

Three points is the bigger requirement here. Any points we can get on the board at this point we should go for, no matter how that requires us to play. When the new manager comes in he can worry about entertaining the crowd. Of course points are most important, particularly in our current predicament. It just annoys me when people seem to think playing dour football guarantees a 1-0 win whereas trying to play entertaining football will end up with a high scoring draw/loss. It's not that simple. IMO the best way to get results is to work hard and play as a team, supporting each other at both ends of the pitch. Obviously, footballing skill/effective tactics are essential, but hard graft and team work go a long way to gaining success on the pitch. Certainly as a starting point. We haven't seen enough of any of these things this season.

First home match I've been able to get to for ages, hopefully a change in fortunes but it can take time to turn round a slump like this so I will be happy if we just see more intent and a sensibly balanced team. Cardiff seem to have had their usual mixed bag of results up to now, though the away win at Boro will have geed them up. They can be quite physical so we can't have anyone hiding for this one.

New manager bounce (well players playing to impress a new manager) 3-0 Town Been a while since a new manager bounce haha. DS - Defeat V Burnley CC - Defeat V Norwich DC - Defeat V Sheff Wed JS - Defeat V Everton DW - Defeat V Boro CP - can't remember MR - Defeat FA Cup v Wigan (I think) Question is... when was the last win for a manager in his 1st game. Unsure on Grayson and Clark.
