Warnock didn't play him either.... He played the full 90 minutes in each of Warnock's first two games and was then a sub in the next three. And just like with Buzz, was dropped... It was more that the comment was having a go at MF when NW did exactly the same.

I believe that Etienne changed his agent during the course of the season, not sure exactly when. I think he was with a small independent agency that only has a few players - including Loick Ayina - and now he's will a far bigger Agency with a lot of players, including some in the Premier League and Bundesliga If he does leave then it'll be a shame, as he is a top top prospect. But if he's not going to sign a new contract then we need to get him moved on this summer. Low transfer fee with loads of add-ons and a big sell on clause. Yeah he did around the time he got in the team. Quite a bit of interest in him so far, I suspect he will be away this summer. Shame really. Super talented lad, will go far in the game. Im confident of that. I wouldn't blame him for a move away. But, if I was the club I'd be looking at a hefty fee, and an even bigger sell on percentage fee. He will go for more money than Chilwell or Colwill in the future, I think.

Camara couldn’t get a game at the bottom of the championship?? 🍻🍻

Just make sure its a very good sell on and a decent fee, if the agent's a prick when he's barely showed anything it's just gonna be more trouble ahead. Au revoir x

I think Chelsea have just turned down 30M for Colwill, while I think Etienne will have a good career in France or Belgium, I'd be surprised if he went for anything like that. Mind you, I'd definitely want a sell on clause for him.

Etienne Camara is sadly a case of Town being played by an agent. They (they being Camara and agent) refused to sign a new deal until Town gave him first team minutes. Town did that then reapproached after a couple of games to be met by the agent asking for Camara to be made the top earner at the club. Obviously not something Town were prepared to do. Then came interest from elsewhere prior to the January window and his agent trying to get him moves elsewhere. Etienne by all accounts is quite a nice, quiet unassuming lad but his agent sounds like a complete whopper. Going off the fact that Fabrizio Romano was tweeting about interest in him, I think that says a bit about the calibre of his new agent. Romano, aside from piggy backing off the work of other journalists, he's often paid by bigger agents to tweet about their players in order to build hype, due to his platform and reputation as the breaker of big transfer stories.

www.examinerlive.co.uk/sport/football/news/neil-warnock-etienne-camara-transfer-27131972?utm_source=linkCopy&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=sharebarHuddersfield Town manager Neil Warnock has challenged Etienne Camara to knuckle down and give him a selection headache going into next season. The midfielder has been the subject of transfer interest from abroad in recent weeks. A report in The Mirror claimed Camara is being courted by a number of European clubs in France, Germany and Italy. Belgian side Anderlecht and Italian outfit Udinese were also previously credited with a transfer interest in the Camara. However, the France Under-20 international has found game time hard to come by since Warnock returned to the club back in February. He fell out of favour, featuring just three times under the veteran boss as the Terriers pulled off the great escape. But Warnock insists Camara will be given an opportunity to prove his credentials when the team returns for pre-season training at the end of the month. "He is at a good stage in his career and he has got to make a decision on himself because he knows how I want him to play," Warnock told Yorkshire Live. "I think he can do what I want him to do but he has got to change certain bits of his game to cater for the Championship. "I will be working very hard with him in pre-season because that would save us buying or getting somebody else in. I had a good long chat with him at the end of last season even though I didn't think I was going to be here. "I had a conversation with him about how he has got all the ability in the world: he has the stature, the touch but does he want to pick up an average wage for the rest of his life or does he want to be something really good? He could be something really good but it is all between his ears. "It is not going to be me or anybody else that will decide that; it will be between his ears. I have seen that a lot of times over my career. Sometimes you win and they become really good players and sometimes they end up playing non league. Let's hope it is a good result this time."

Floating about in midfield, playing long passes that you stand and watch, isnt how Warnock sees his futute here?? Being 'able to play a bit' isnt enough anymore, you have to graft and support and you have to play as part of the team in the style and tactical approach laid down. If you can really play a bit it will come through. Have to understand that here there are going to be games that your effectiveness will be gauged on ground covered and tackles, intereptions rather than defence splitting balls etc. He is s young lad, he has the talent, we have seen it in flashes, now has to add the rest. Hope he can, I like him a lot.

Forgot to say, he is also a good sized lad and given he can play a bit too makes him even more of a prospect we need to use properly. The young lads know one really good season in a Town team that really competes and their opportunities are widened greatly, Neil has probably convinced him of this over variable advice from an agent or whoever?

Hugely talented (as was Billing) but has a languid style which isnt always easy on the eye when without the ball and needs to quicken up when in possession to progress imho. The key question is does he want to work for a man who will make him better but there might be times he frustrates and struggles..............or will foreign destinations offer him an easier existence where his talents may shine quicker given its slower pace and where his agent benefits also.

Classic DATM. Was he going to say attitude or attribute?
I think he was going to say 'attention' like a drill sergeant and then bollock whichever journalist didn't stand up.
I can see the next attitude scapegoat coming along now they've got bored of picking apart everything about Sorba.
